This isn't really the same thing, but in season 9 of Beverly Hills 90210 Fergie's original band Wild Orchid plays at the Peach Pit After Dark.

Wow, Fergie looks WAY different. But I guess 25 years will do that to you.

Not to mention her meth addiction which didn't help.

Was watching The Shield last night and Stana Katic appeared in it. I don't know if she had a nosejob or if that was a little makeup to make her 'look european' but man her nose had quite a bridge on it. Of course she also appeared in Quantum of Solace.

EDIT: Not a super great angle but here is a still from The Shield.

I don't know if it really counts, since most of them wear a lot of makeup, but there's tonnes of people from the more recent spinoffs of Star Trek.

The one I never knew of in particular was that Mick Fleetwood played the fish-like aliens in one of the early Lwaxana episodes:

I would never have known if the cast weren't talking about it at a convention I saw online.

Also, apparently Michael Buble had a small role in the X-Files in the early 90s.

Ellen Page played Trina, Mr. Laheys daughter on Trailer Park Boys. Before the show ended I always hoped she would have made a surprise return cameo.

Oh, another one I recently found was that Raphael Sbarge played an army personnel member in Independence Day.

I think Crowe (also a musician) is a friend of Great Big Sea frontman Alan Doyle.

My friend went to high school with her in Nova Scotia. I think it was an alternative Buddhist school.

Indeed. In fact, Doyle played Robin Hood in Crowe's production.

Ah yes, according to IMDB, Alan Doyle played the role of Allan A'Dayle

It's a shame though, that movie had so much more potential. I still enjoyed it.

I got another one:

Sam Rockwell in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)

I wonder if the friendship is to some degree narcissistic--they could easily pass for brothers.

They are both genuinely nice peoplel. Crowe plays his music in random bars in downtown St. John's. No publicity, just like open mic kind of thing when he comes to visit Allen.

I suppose you could put it that way... I'm from NS, I have friends that have gone there, and honestly I'm not fully sure how to describe Shambhala School.. It's a private school from pre-primary to grade 12..

Basically, they teach the Shambhala Buddhism wisdom without the actual full on religious aspects to it... They meditate every day to expand the mind and allow creative juices to flow.

It was created by parents of the Shambhala community around here who didn't agree with the public schools.

The first time I watched Shooter I didn't realize the old southern gun expert was played by Levon Helm. It's funny because he's one of my favourite musicians (RIP) and that was my favourite part of the movie.

Yeah that's generally how it goes. People often will often label newcomers in big budget roles as 'new actors' but the majority of them likely have a history of working there ***** off trying to get this small roles to build up their resumes for a good 5-10 years before they officially 'made it'.

Anyways, I'll add Samuel L. Jackson in Coming America as the crook that holds up McDowell's with a shotgun but gets beat up by Eddy Murphy with his mop.

She definitely had a nose job (and looks much better now). She looks just like that in some of her earlier work.
