Trying not to get my hopes up here, but that sounds pretty good.

nice. that's the best possible news.

not a lingering muscle injury, and not a major structural injury. should be a couple of weeks recovery time.

That's great to hear! Not too serious at all.

We dodged a bullet.

No doctor but Adrian Peterson had acl and MCL tears and won the MVP this year in his comeback year.

Don't think a strain should linger.

That's an exceptional circumstance, historically, people who tear their MCL don't see those type of upward trends- see basketball.

If it were up to me, I'd keep him in Toronto recovering until next weeks game against Buffalo Thursday at home. No travel.

Kiprusoff is out another 2 weeks after already missing one with an MCL sprain, I haven't seen his original injury and don't know how severe it looked compared to Reimers', so here's to hoping Reims doesn't miss as much time

I'd just hope Scrivens has a record of 0.500 or above in the games that Reimer isn't playing.

Hopefully, he returns by 25th away game against Philadelphia (in full mid-season form I mean).

Could be worse. The way he limped around it could have been a month.

A wounded knee? We will get slaughtered.

No but seriously, this is as good news one could have hopped for. Scrivens looked really good as well and I wont say any games are easy cause they are not but Carolina, Ottawa, Florida, Tampa and Buffalo are all winnable games. Only Carolina and Ottawa are currently in playoffs spots right now.

The outlook for an MCL sprain is usually very good. A mild sprain may take anything from a few days to two weeks to repair, a grade II sprain can take up to four weeks, and a severe sprain anywhere from four to eight weeks, but full recovery with minimal long-term effects is highly likely.
