That's alright, they ripped it off from Howard Stern.

Who on earth is on the air with Zolak today? I just heard him say that Marchand, between the Buffalo game and last night "has developed a quick release" and that opposing goalies and defensemen will now have to be aware of him. I mean, WTF?

just heard that too. must be a hoop/seamhead who was told he'd have to be filling in for Gresh so he'd better watch a B's game or 2.

I think you meant he is following Felgers model and watched a highlight or 2.

Felger is an absolute genius at stirring up shyte. I was listening yesterday afternoon when he came up with that Seguin/Kessel stuff out of his a$$ and thought....brilliant! Instant controversy. (sigh) What do you say me and you start our own 3rd station Donnie and show em how it's done?

Ahh, a station that doesn't just watch a few minutes of the game and check out highlights they missed (98.5) or just check the box score 2 minutes before air time (WEEI)? That would be refreshing. Still like 98.5, but the quality of Bruins talk has taken a dive. Although, I must admit, I like the passion of guys like T&R. Are they experts? No. Far from it. I also think Wallach's hockey expertise is underrated.

Ference just stopped in and they had a good interview with him. (Ference I think could have a good interview with a pair of chimps.) He talked about the comeback and how being together as a team for a while helps, because there's no **** between players, or coaches for that matter.

Now they're saying maybe Dupont was taking a shot at Seguin in a tweet last night. No! Really?

Back to Ference - he said the team had no problems with Thomas because they knew what his beliefs were but he never brought it into the room.

Oh, and some guy called in before the interview and said Krejci was the worst player on the ice last night.

What station? Isn't he usually on with D&C?

Krejci was excellent. The problem with him is that he typically plays at somewhat of a slower pace, so when he's not scoring he looks like he's disinterested or half assing it. That's just his game and his style. I think he's looked great for the most part this season.

It was the Sports Hub. He had a regular gig with D & C last season but I have no idea if he's doing it again this year.

But the first non dive call from a Montreal Bruins game and the FCC we shut us down after my cursing rant.

Ordway out at WEEI

Quote:
A seismic shakeup at sports radio station WEEI is apparently imminent, with longtime host Glenn Ordway being replaced on its afternoon drive program by Mike Salk, a Boston native who has co-hosted a program on 710 ESPN in Seattle since 2009.

Good news is now that they are making changes Dennis and Callahan should be gone soon.

They'd never do Dale and Holley at drive time. Holley yes, but not Dale. It would be like having your grandfather on when they're trying to capture a younger audience. It wouldn't work.

The level of condescension that Ordway exuded to most of the callers and other hosts was beyond tired. The guy is a blowhard whose main tactic for debating is to talk over whomever you disagree with, yell, and name call. Complete joke. Glad to see he's gone. Good riddance.
