He does get injured a lot, but when you say taking a slap shot to the chest and being day-to-day isn't a bad luck play that is pushing it.

LOL

Regin takes a slapshot to the chest, may not even miss an entire game and people are soiling themselves over the fact that the runner-up for coach of the year has the nerve to not send this guy straight to the ECHL.

This might be the most ridiculous thing ever. Instead of waiting to see if this is just a bump or a bruise, I suppose the team should just waive the guy and bring up who exactly?

He really, really, really, really, really needs to ditch the number 13. He's been cursed since he made the switch.

players have suffered cardiac arrest and a couple have died by getting hit in the chest by a puck and by a batted ball in baseball. It is not something that the training staff would take lightly.

And how exactly is getting cross checked from behind by 6'6" 250 lbs Nik Antropov considered being injury prone or even considered a "hockey" hit?

Agree. Needs to go back to 43. Karma is smiting him.

Damn, got excited for a sec...

Agree with you though, you just don't mess with Juju. I don't actually know who juju is, but he sounds tough.

Juju is sent out by Jo-Bu. You do not want Jo-Bu's Juju to come to you...

Do we know if he's scratched for tonight's game or still injured?

Goes into the coaches office and tells him he's ready to play after the coach already said no line-up changes, get put into the lineup, play solid defence and a couple nice offensive rushes, goes on to score the shoot out winner.

I think he just decided to take his ju-ju and get it back on track all by himself.

Also some solid praise by Maclean on the team 1200 saying that Regin was a big part of the team, in reference to inserting him into the lineup when Regin made the request.

Props to Regin, this is a guy that deserves a little luck after the last couple seasons.

Sigh. Finally going to share my thoughts about this series. Wishing I was playing but I can only count on the rest of the boys to try and win me one more chance to crack the lineup. Hard to put my immediate future in the hands of others but I believe in my team! Until I play I'll be their biggest supporter. GO SENS GO.

I always liked him as a person. I hope he finds a soft landing somewhere and is able to play in the NHL next season.

He's played six games in the last two months, but up 3 points in 27 games and we desperately need some offense yet he thinks there's still a chance he could draw back in the line up?

Nice guy, great to see he's supporting the team still but his days a Senator are all but over.

Yeah, there's a lot of players that aren't even in the lineup right now that would draw in before him.

Hopefully he finds success elsewhere in the NHL, though.
