I hope they sit Bryz, he gives us the best chance to win, but if the team plays like last night and get behind, the crowd will be all over Bryz and with this **** team we can't afford him getting lost in the woods again.

If it is Boucher after all, I'd be surprised. From Sunday through Thursday, five days, would mean Bryzgalov played about half a game.

Also, Harry Z. supposedly will wear #12 tonight.

Why split our best line for the past two games? I think jake and Schenn should continue playing together maybe with read. Then put McGinn and Simmonds with g to give him some room and Briere with talbot and z
Simmonds and McGinn obviously hasn't worked for Giroux. I think it's more imperative that we get giroux going than it is to keep voracek and schenn together. load up the top line and try to create space that way. it'll be harder for teams to focus on Giroux with voracek and simmonds to worry about as well, where as mcginn and simmonds would be a duo entirely reliant upon giroux getting them the puck...

Jody Shelley to IR (hip) in order to make room for Harry Z.

It needs to be Read on that line. He's the only legit shooter that we have right now. I wouldn't mind seeing something like:

Read-Giroux-Voracek
Simmonds-Schenn-Briere
McGinn-Talbot-Knuble
Z-Fedotenko-Rinaldo/Sestito

I'm getting sick of the spread the talent motto. It hasn't worked and we need to try two stacked lines with two that should be focused on defense.

McGinn and Simmonds haven't played with G at the same time.

Honestly, Voracek and Schenn as his wingers might do him good. One can hit and the other is a big body.

Schenn - Giroux - Voracek
Simmonds - Briere - Read
McGinn - Talbot - Knuble
Z - Fedotenko - Rinaldo/Sestito

This.

That sounds good actually. I think Sestito should play instead of Rinaldo because of all the BS nothing-calls Rinaldo has been getting in the past couple days.

I have a bad feeling about this if Boucher starts the match.

But the point on making 2 stacked lines is right on...the offense really needs to get it going. Though I personally would like to see Read with G

Two good scoring lines and 2 good energy lines.

Anthony S. on the Flyers' site has this regarding the goalie for tonight:

Nothing yet… the team did not skate this morning. I hope to have an update by 6pm or so.

But there would still be a Knuble....and we all know what a Knuble can do to your chances of winning.

First Leighton and now Shelley, this is great. At least the garbage guys can't play.

I hope they bounce back tonight after last night's game.

BS? That penalty he got in the first period was 100% predictable and deserved. He lost his temper after being hit cleanly and gave the ref a good look at it. The penalties he and Phaneuf got at the end were simply given to both to diffuse the situation. There was no way the final result of the game was going to change but you had to know that tempers were boiling over on the Flyers' bench and Rinaldo would be the one to lead the way with a dumb penalty. The ref did him a favour.

I'm hoping they go with Boosh tonight, the crowd in the "Peg" will eat Bryzzy to death they way the team in front of him have been playing, don't want to damage the team's one bright spot other than McGinn, thus far, either way just find a way to win and not a way out

Probably because we would play Buff and Toby vs them, if things go bad, we're off to the races again.

Upping my prediction to double-shutout, 4 goals by Giroux.

Good. Bryz is starting and hopefully since Giroux is probably angry as ****, he will bust out and score some.

You might be on to something, Kessel broke out here to, but we were missing key players, 1 of which is back now, but still you might get your wish.

PS in a losing cause of 17-16,
