Yep. Got the same numbers using all post 04-05 lockout years before the season began.

Currently there are 4 teams with 13 points in 12 games, comes out to 52 over 48 so you're probably right

thought about this before the season started. 56 points will be enough for sure. 54 should be enough

Is a new GM magically going to add a couple 1st line players for nothing?

Will have pretty good pick this year + Has a quality prospect in Murray + Dansk and have some nice pieces to build around (Anisimov , Dubinsky , etc)

if you're building around dubinsky and anisimov, you don't have much of a future. they are solid players, but certainly not cornerstone type players

They have the middle of a team up front, a good-enough defense which will be better once Moore and Erixon get a little older, and some prospects on the way, but they need to dump Mason and add a whole 1st line. If they hadn't missed on Alexandre Picard and Nikita Filatov and kept Antoine Vermette, they'd be a playoff team by now.

Mason is UFA after year ,, He is as good as gone

Bobrovsky has been up and down ,, Still think he has #1 potential but a guy like Hiller could become available in offseason if they look to upgrade

Only thing surprising about it is the fact that it took them so long to do it.

wow, some interesting news. Howson is gone and the Jokerit GM seems to be the frontrunner.

ROR will be gone and they ask for a Top prospect and a Roster player. I hope Bowman passes

St. Louis isn't currently in playoff position

They play Detroit tonight. Hopefully the game is decided in regulation so one of them gets zero points.

I'd rather pony up for Ribiero than ROR. Ribiero has been doing his thing for awhile. ROR had one really solid year and is crying for a payday.

I feel like those 2 will have played 8 times after tonight.

Kekalainen (pronounced kehk-uh-LIE-nehn) spent eight seasons with the St. Louis Blues from 2002-10 before joining Jokerit
Teravainen is with Jokerit. Trade Teravainen for CBJs second first round pick.

Are you suggesting we trade our most recent first round pick, who has been playing pretty well mind you, for another first round pick this year?

Yes. Teravainen is currently projecting as a RW. That means hes going to be 3rd line behind Kane and Hossa.

Originally thought to be a center. Future 2nd line center at that but as of now, doesnt look like hes making the move there. Alternatively as a hedge if Kane continued to trend downwards but Kanes come back this year.

Doubt the Jackets will do it. With the potential 3rd pick, that means Jones and McKinnon are out but this years draft class projects to be particularly strong.

I rather go back to into the draft taking a future rather than having Teravainen as a 3rd line RW.

Maybe I'm alone on this, but I'm all over a Bolland + Olsen (or something to that effect), for RoR.

Id do that for RoR. Olsen is a stiff imo but other teams may still look at potential upside.

I like his age as well. RoR will be 23 this month.

O'Reily reportedly wants 5+ mil a season. You'd trade Bolland and Olsen for a $5 mil center who's scored 26, 26, and 55 points in his career?
