Wasn't Yawney the guy who took over last season right before they went on a huge run before the playoffs? Or was that someone else? Considering they've already been through 2 or 3 coaches since the start of Syracuse I wonder if something else is the problem down there.

Remember that most of the garbage that we had with those other coaches is no longer here. I'm more inclined to axe the coach on this one. We handed him a ton of talent, several of which are playing better in Anaheim than they did in their half season in Norfolk, yet the results weren't there. I think Yawney was a mismatch for the sort of team that we're building in Anaheim, so it's not entirely his fault.

Good thoughts about its not the coaches fault entirely, he is being told who to play each night no matter how well or bad indivduals play because its the AHL, and the NHL tell him to play certain players, even if they have a -17and no 3 points., they still play. I see it every year, (except last, when no matter who played we stil. won.).ITs the AHL and is and will always be a development league, even if less than 10 percent of these players get to the NHL. (but 75% make it there for a game or two.) I like this coaching staff,

As per Eric Stephens - Roloson has been hired by Ducks as a goalie consultant to work mostly with Norfolk. Has history with Peeters in Edmonton.

Can't complain about that move.

Call Roloson up to the big club to back up Fasth, trade Hiller and a 1st for ROR

Don't let him near Hiller. If Hiller starts throwing his mask off he'll be dead in minutes.

Could be a tough weekend for the Ads with Holland and Marron getting called up to the Ducks, Im wondering who will play forward or are Palmari and Etem getting sent down

I doubt KP would get sent down, he's got 4 goals. Etem is a possibility I suppose.

Palmieri won't go down. He's a top 6 forward for Anaheim

Rakell got sent back to the OHL which leaves us with 12 forwards IIRC.

The only thing I can think of is Etem goes back down, which would make sense as he has no role in Anaheim atm.

Just read that the Ads signed Brayden Irwin to a contract, I also see that Nick Schaus in no longer on the roster?> Did they release him? I thought he was decent in a limited role. Are they bringing someone in>?

I know it's a joke, but if Murray traded Jonas and a 1st for ROR, I'd head down to Honda Center with a pitchfork in hand.

Norfolk managed only 12 shots, yet somehow won. Bobber got the shutout.

Bobkov got 33 saves on 35 shots. Roloson is paying off already.

7 points in 9 for this Leblond-guy. Pure luck or is he able to put up points as well?

Got a goal as well last game.

...15 points in 43 games in the AHL isn't going to convince anyone he's a stud.

He's on the right track Soj. He scored last game and is taking on the workload. Let it marinade a bit
