He dislikes Gaudreau and goes to great lengths to discredit him in anyway possible.

DTMB has been trolling throughout this thread. Mods find it acceptable. Just ignore him.

I would assume because he's making some connection between Gaudreau, a mid-round pick, to Teravainen, an option the Flames could have taken mid-first.

No...it doesn't make any sense, does it?

Don't feed the troll. Ignore him and he loses interest. Reply to him, and you're the one to blame for why he keeps posting in the thread. People have power, only because others give it to them.

I hope he makes it in the NHL and becomes a star like St.Louis, he has all you would want out of an offensive player maybe for the exception of his speed but with the high end skill and vision he has the potential to be something special.

I would personally have him stay at BC for another year to build on gaining some muscle/weight, then sign him with the Flames.

Him and Sven Baertschi will be the quite the duo in Calgary if only they can get that elite centermen.

I'd like to see him develop quite a bit more. He's got a scary quick wrister when he lets it go when he wants to. However the one thing about him is he is really focused. I think he puts some of this talent to the side for the betterment of the team which is something that is EXTREMELY desirable for a prospect. And at his size he goes to the front of the net too and pays a price. Not something you usually say for a person that small.

I'm rooting for him. Classy kid to boot. Hopefully the size doesn't get to him though. If he had a bit more size he would be a real high end prospect.

I'm pretty sure his father mentioned a few weeks ago that he'll likely stay a full 4 years with BC. I guess we'll see.

Pretty much this, also Gerbe plays in the dirty areas more than JG, as JG is more of a perimeter player.

I think this is the kid who will re-energize Jarome Iginla in Calgary. I think comparisons to Martin St. Louis, Daniel Briere, Patrick Kane and Paul Kariya are well founded here.

He is a special talent.

I cant imagine Iginla still being around at that point with his UFA status approaching.

I agree hes a good talent but Kane, Briere, Kariya are all bigger then him.

Id assume hed stay another year at Boston then another 1-1.5 years in the AHL (Cam Atkinson, Conarcher, Tyler Johston all have). So by the time hes in the league Iginla will be either gone or not the 30g he was formerly

He will be there for 2 more years and most likely a year in the ahl so by the time he makes the nhl Iginla will be 38 and either on another team or a second/third line player here.

Great steal for the Flames in the 4th round. If he got drafted the year after his freshman year at BC, first round talent in my mind, people just think because he is small he wont do it but look at Briere, or St Louis.
wut?
