And people need to stop with the buy out Richards stuff. He's been mediocre in the last few games...
BUT, he was probably out best forward in the post season last year and a big reason why we went to the Conference Finals. Everyone was on the Richards train then. What have you done for me lately?
Richard's first shift in OT... you won't even see a regular time shift like that in any beer league across the globe. Wow. I thought I was seeing things.
We have this season and next season to evaluate Richards. If we start to notice any sort of decline, then buying him out could be a possibility. Will see if it gets to that point, still far too early to make decisions on that.
You don't see it? Cmon man...
The first few games of the season we all thought it was a byproduct of his 'flu'. NOTHING has changed since then. He is absolutely worse than last year. Its unreal.
Is he out of shape, still??? Is he injured? I mean...I just don't have any words for how bad he is playing.
His mental game is not there either, that pass in overtime where Hank had to cover it up? Oh my god.
His contract is absurd, and we need to free up the space. He is a shell of his former self, and its going to look ugly down the road.
Not sure I agree. Bruins made some stupid plays and the Rangers benefited off of their mistakes, but the game was hardly dictated by the Rangers. Bruins realized that shots from the point won't beat Lundqvist, dirty gritty gameplay will and that's what scored them some goals at the end. Take away Rask's softy, add in Boychuks crossbar shot and Bergeron's breakaway and it's a different game. (of course, Nash's post too). It was an even affair chance and speedwise, Tuukka just played like poo-poo.
I agree that the B's were lucky, they dug themselves a hole. But the Rangers didn't look like a dominant team out there.
Either way, I love your team. Good luck in the rest of the season. Lundqvist is my favorite goalie in the league.
Great game, Tuukka had an off night giving up two goals he normally otherwise stops and Bruins show character in coming back and stealing a point. Still only one regulation loss for Boston, really hope to see you guys in the playoffs.
Ugly ending, but Ill take 2 pts from Boston in Boston. Different divisions so I could care less about giving them a point. Take the win and move on the the Isles.
Hank played a very good game overall but he struggled on their 2nd and 3rd goals. Some bad bounces and iffy coverage contributed as well for sure.

Well, good teams can salvage a disaster like we did. 3 game winstreak.
On the flip side, cup contenders don't blow 3 goal leads in one period, where 2 goals come in the last minute and a half while we have the best goalie in the league.
Not acceptable. It's nice to have the two points but I'm livid and this **** won't fly in the playoffs.
What a disaster this was. Completely unacceptable to blow a 3-0 lead in the third. Bucktooth Beaver Brad Richards looks lost out there. I'd seriously consider amnestying him this summer. Still time for him to turn it around, but boy is he slow.
Ah well. Take the two points and run.
And yes, I will continue to fully type out Bucktooth Beaver Brad Richards.
This is all I have to say about Rick Nash's assist and shootout goal...
It's hard to blame the comeback on just one player. As a team the Rangers just became a shell of themselves and lean too much on Lundqvist for the last 10 minutes.
Giving the B's a point sucks. The way they allowed Boston to come back sucks even more.
Getting the win in the end feels freekin' awesome. Streak is alive, and they're moving up the standing.
Boston is not in our division, so I wouldn't worry to much about giving away a point to them (2 really, neither of our wins should have gone to OT). But I totally agree regarding the feeling it gave, the last 10 mins were brutal.
