Big time saves by Price specially vs Stamkos. The kid deked me out watching from home.

Perhaps I'm "misremembering" Boullion's roughing call, but I don't recall him doing anything to warrant a penalty.

If someone could enlighten me as to why he got a penalty, that'd be great, because I'm livid about that right now

Because it's a win, sugar - you get hosed with **** luck on the last two goals and you pull through in the end. A win's a win. And don't give me that about "you make your own luck", such an annoying hockey cliche.

This foolishness is on Oxo. Not to mention Prust took a stupid tough-guy penalty for no reason. I thought this new regime was going to be about accountability. We shall see.
I didn't want to get started on Bouillon. He's just a terrible player. I just wanted to point out that's the second pointless fight Moen has had this year with the lead.

I don't understand why people are so angry with the team. Habs got scored two pretty lucky goals, come back and completely dominate the overtime to finally win a shootout.

They gutted out that win. They didn'T get discouraged by the flukey goals and tried very hard during overtime.

I guess some people will only be pleased when we win all our games easily. So that basically means: never.

But we gotta admit that TB got some lucky bounces in the third.

Frustrating end of game, but seriously those 2 last goals were garbage lucky bounces. Price had basically no chance on the 3 goals...

I'll take the win and not start whining about this, for those saying 'Habs don't deserve to win' when they outplayed the Lightning for about 50 minutes, tell me how the Lightning would deserve it for getting lucky a bunch of lucky bounces in the last 5 minutes.

But I would've been REALLY pissed if we lost it.

Price throwing the puck at the end of the Stamkos save is pretty epic.

You know what I don't like, the PK.

Last year looked so good, challenging the points. That last PK, they were all collapsed inwards, screening Price, leaving Salo to do whatever he wanted to at the points.

That's hilarious. I'd be singing a different song if it resulted in a loss, but still, you can't help but laugh

Whatever. 2 points is 2 points. At the end of the season you'll remember this not as a blown lead but as the game where Bouillon somehow won the game in the shootout.

This gave me a cold sweat - probably MT too - although not playoffs, it reminded me of Carolina 11 years ago or so. Has MT made some tactical errors in the last 3 games or so?

Yeah but DD scores in the SO so Eller will keep playing on the 4th line.

At least, he is getting PK and PP minutes.

Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher should stick together. Good passing, and some great chances, they need some games to gel, but they could do some damage, all very fast. Eller played great, he's such a solid stick handler and puck carrier, I just hope he gets a shot at decent linemates. Also, I know PK screwed up a few times but I did like he decision making in the Ozone tonight. Didn't go for the big wind up, he got the puck on net and it paid off.

This call and Prust roughing call on Prust were ******** calls. I guess that was to make up for the bad calls against TB during the first period.

I can't believe we actually won a shoot-out. No way TB deserved a point. Habs suck holding leads. Nice goal by DD.

The referees now decide who will win most games and it's soooo obvious.

People are angry because it's the FIFTH time this team has blown either a 2 goal lead (NJ, WPG, BUF, TB) or a 3rd period lead (BOS) so far. In 12 games!!!!!!!

And factor in how many times it happened last year, no wonder people are pissed. Nothing has changed. The team has no killer instinct and takes ridiculous penalties at the worst time.

Well, well, well... Not really sure what to think about this one. TB scored two fluky goals tonight to tie the game and barely had any chances throughout the whole game. I found Montreal barring the collapse were playing well at shutting down Tampa's big pieces offensively. Eller and Plekanec had their best of the game of the year defensively, they were stealing pucks from the Bolts all night and were always 1 play ahead defensively. Kudos to Markov who also had a strong game defensively. I recall two plays where he deflected the puck wisely to break some good scoring chances. I felt the effort was there for Cole tonight but the execution and the results still aren't there. But this team is starting to make me pull my hair, that's 3 games in the last 4 games that the team could have easily won but due to lack of discipline, mental collapses or just plain badluck they blew leads. I know the team has this new motto of 'No excuses' so they have nothing but to blame themselves. I'm starting to fear that this core is too weak mentally to have success at this point, I don't think Gionta is good leader. I know he's the quiet type but it's in times like these where you have to speak up. You can't keep losing points on stupid things just cuz **** happens, especially in a 48 game season. I almost had an heart attack when I heard RDS say that Bouillon was taking the second shot in the SO

Anyway, I'd be great if you guys could check out my video for Markov.

Why would we not?

It's not like they really sit on their lead. Tying goal was extremely unlucky. 2nd goals hit Hedman's glove and went in, not much they could have done about it. Is there really anyone that we should singled out for a really poor performance?

I'm still happy with the win.
