6 straight losses for the Guppies! Too bad, the Ucks have yet to have a skid.

Man Crawford looks good.

This was a guy everyone wanted gone, and out of the league last year.

The Oilers are going to lose again, but at least they scored an even strength goal tonight! That brings their total to 11 in 13 games, Yikes!

I always thought RNH was not going to be a good center in the West.

You need some size out West. RNH would be perfect in the East, or as a winger.

He's 19 years old in his 2nd year.

Kid has 58 points in 73 career NHL games.

He's 6'1" 185 pounds, he'll fill out.

It's his second season, and the guy is putting up great numbers. In time, he'll be one of the best centers in the NHL.

I don't see it , the kid plays so weak once the game begins to get heavy.

Rough night for him as well tonight, Dallas was physical with him all night, and he was 3-11 from the dot.

Second half of last season too, teams just played him heavy.

RNH wilted under the heavy play.

It was the same for the WJ tourney, Team USA hit RNH every chance they got, and he wilted.

I actually kinda feel for the Devils on the main boards. Zajac is under fire, in spite of being the top center on a team with 1 regulation loss in like 12 games. He's getting the Doughty treatment from fantasy stat knuckledraggers.

Well when you are paid 7 Million Dollars a season to put points on the board....

It kind of raises eyebrows that you are not, and you are a -10 in 11 games(worse than Jack minus Johnson).

It's a small sample size sure, But it's no surprise people are going "WTF".
More so, after how dominant Drew was in the playoff's

Doughty's main concern right now is not putting points on the board. He's expected to mitigate the effects of the injuries to Greene and Mitchell.

I could care less it's a small sample size. Just explaining why it's no surprise why people are like "WTF"

True but there are Devil fans calling Zajac one of the top 3 defencive centers in the game.

Way off base.

There are blind homers in every fan base. Go read the thread on NHL talk about Howson being fired. There are Cbs fans defending him.

Absolutely agree.

And some of the Howson posts are a thing of beauty.

I think the Kings are slowly turning a corner but I wanted to hear everyone's take on the Ducks. I first thought their early success was alot of smoke and mirrors but I'm starting to get a little worried about their new goalie and that the team seems to be buying into a better defensive structure. They looked pretty gutsy last night against the Hawks.

Plus Perry and Getlaf in contract years, anyone else think that team might be for real?

Same division for 20 years and not a single playoff game between the two teams. It took almost that long for games against San Jose and Phoenix. I'd welcome a series against the Ducks.

So, who is glued to the half-wall on the Hawks' PP?

I would absolutely love it as well. With the Lakers seemingly out of the playoff picture, a series between the Ducks and Kings would get a lot of attention. Would be even better if it was 2nd or 3rd round. Could you imagine the Ducks and the Kings in the WCF? That would blow the minds of every Canadian analyst on CBC and TSN.
