I didn't put enough effort into my auto-draft rankings it would seem.

The autodraft rankings were horrible, anyone who took a dman in the first 3 rounds made a huge mistake. I saw one guy took a Dman before Ovechkin lol.

I didn't really put much thought into my auto-rankings as I don't think the season will be that long. I tried to get some young guys for keeper options, but I think if I were taking D-men that I got two good ones as far as fantasy targets. At my spot Tavares was my round 1 target for keeper purposes as well as stats but he went one spot before me

I noticed that alot of people were confused yesterday and thought the first rounds were the people you were setting as you're keepers, which isn't the case. I said it a couple times in the chat yesterday. My team is all nice and young, picked up Skinner in the 5th round! Only old guy I took was Prospal, and he was in the second to last round

I only used that as a guideline due to the lockout situation. My auto-draft ended up picking some weird ones (Ray Whitney in the 4th? Crazy), but I got some decent keeper options for future seasons (Hall, Pacioretty). I'm not confident that we'll have anything more than a half-season this time.

I had never auto-drafted before so I didn't realise that I couldn't adjust my rankings once my draft position had been set. THAT was a major screw up on my part. I probably would not have picked Kris Letang as my 1st round choice if I was drafting live myself, and if I had picked Letang, I would not have gone with Buff in round 2 like my auto-draft did.

Haha I saw that it auto drafted Enstrom for you and thought you'd be stoked.

Sorry I couldn't make the draft.. Pretty happy with the results, though!

I'm still mad at myself for picking Bogosian as early as I did. I've been playing too much NHL 13 and somehow convinced myself that he is perfectly healthy.

Overall, I think that considering that I drafted last for the first five rounds, I did pretty good. Probably shouldn't have picked defensemen in both the 2nd and 3rd but oh well, I'm fine with who I have.

Um, well interesting auto picks for me. I am pleased with Yandle though.

Looks to me like the Peg City Annihilators are early favorites!

These fantasy drafts are...intriguing because we're not sure when the season starts and how much of a season we might have. If there is no season, keepers are HUGE. We'll see though. Not sure how things will play out.

I believe I might have the most truculent team in all the fantasy league.

Not sure why I picked Louis Leblanc though

Yeah, it'll be strange. I wonder if the scheduled matchups will stay or be postponed by ESPN. If they stay, we'll have a lot of ties.

What would you want for Bobrovsky? I'm Seguin's Alarmclocks.

I sent you an offer, only two guys I interested on ur team are Letang or Buff. I think I made you a fair offer, giving up Quincey as well to make up for you giving up Letang.

To anyone who picked Gomez: you may want to drop him now

I'm glad I replaced LeBlanc (who isn't even invited to training camp for the Habs) with Vermette back in December.

Will +/- or any other stats be added this year?

If you are still taking suggestions about the league settings/keeper settings, what do you think of adding a rookie clause? Usually, some keeper leagues allow a certain amount of players, plus one rookie to be carried over to next season. Gives us more options to think about when trading/adding players.

Ir system!

I really think the league should have an IR system for next year. It's bad enough when your top guys get hurt and your only options are the players that went completely undrafted. You shouldn't also be stuck with an unproductive roster spot. There's no strategical justification for the league being set up like that - it doesn't enhance the competition in any way.

So far luck is really against me, despite the fact it looks like I'll start 2-0. Hartnell, my first round pick, is out 4-8 weeks. Simmonds took a cheap shot to the head from that piece of **** Erskine last night just after he worked his way to the first line. Burrows isn't playing with the Sedins at all so far.

Sadly I had to drop Burmi, despite the fact my team is named after him. I just can't keep him benched.

Yea, my first rd pick has done **** all so far. ****ing Corey Perry. That's the last time I trust the hockey news!

Duchene, Staal, Semin and Seguin haven't exactly been firing on all cylinders. The best things so far has been Kassian, Glencross and Lehtonen.
