I'm not sure how we managed to win that game, (okay it was all Kari yet again ) but beating teams like the oilers and finishing strong is a good sign for this season IMO.
Why is it that the 4th line can produce, and Rousell and Garbutt battle hard for that last forward spot, but the 3rd line is totally snakebitten. Stars' shooting percentage with Smith on the ice remains at 0.
it can't be as bad as the caps duo, whenever they make eye contact one guy ALWAYS nods and looks away, and he does this at times almost every 2 seconds, Beninati was fun to watch.
i can't believe i'm going to say this, but morrow looked almost good out there, anyone else agree?
i thought he looked decent. Set up Jagr in front a couple of times. I love Stars-Oilers games. Not just because we tend to win, but they are always pretty wild. Sloppy, but fun. Glad to see The 4th line get some goals. Always love they hustle they bring. ... now, if we can just win the 2nd of a B2B...pleeaase

I havent minded Morrow out there as much as everyone else. I think he's been fine. Not great, but fine. He brings an element to that line. Would be nice if he could finish a little more though.
Morrow's problem is he's a pylon and nothing else. The pass he made on the 3 on 2 line rush last night was a perfect example of how useless he is on that line unless he's taking up space. You probably could have John Scott fill a similar role.

And stand up- it seems like each time he's on the ice he falls down one or two times.

Too bad Dallas fans didn't come up with Morrow Down. That was the one nice thing about watching Hartnell last year, every time he fell on the ice it was a #hartnelldown and he would donate money to charity, he also sold #hartnelldown shirts.. so amazingly you looked for him falling.
Morrow needs to continue to have physical games like last night where he flies around checking players in the offensive zone to cancel out opponents, if he can do that it will buy space for jagr and benn. I think if Morrow can just tie up another player it will create 4 on 4 hockey and we know how dangerous that line is 4 on 4 :-D But when Jagr came here, i really wanted to see him play with a skilled winger after watching Hartnell. It drives me crazy to see someone play that can not make simple passes.
