Bingo. I don't see why we'd trade for ROR when the defense is the biggest issue. Jokinen's not the greatest 3rd line center, but he's adequate in that role. Meanwhile, the minute one of our defenseman goes out, we're ******** the bed, because Bobby Sangs is in the lineup.

Well, the thing is that not only do the Avs have depth at center, but also a glut of defensemen. We can also use such a trade to upgrade the bottom 2 slots if we wanted to. Say, for example, if we also included LaRose's expiring contract in the package, we could potentially get 2 years of Shane O'Brien.
