ANA/CHI in OT.

"Lewd-man" having a rough go of it late in this game.

So lot's of talk about O Reilly is now being shopped to the east for a roster player and a top prospect. I wouldnt mind giving him the Staal role and moving Sutter to the wing, but I guess our rivals will be more involved in this than Shero.

Honestly, for the price it's going to cost to land O'Reilly, I'd rather those assets be spent on acquiring a top six winger, rather than improving our third line. One of the few positives about the Staal trade is (supposedly) now that extra money could be allocated to improving our top six. Adding O'Reilly would put us back where we were before -- very strong down the middle, but at the expense of top six winger talent.

I'd rather use him on the wing than Sutter, but yeah, not sure if the fit is there.

Strait and Lovejoy setting the precedent for "Pittsburgh is the place to go for D... even their waiver fodder end up getting 18 min a game!"

Ray is going to rock the deadline.

Watch him acquire a # 7 D for a 3rd round pick

Does anyone know what Mikael Granlund's problem is in Minnesota. I haven't got to see him this season. I do remember how highly coveted he was in his draft year. Is he just not big and strong enough, or is he just not fitting in with Minnesota?

If he doesn't turn his game around, I'm curious as to what Minnesota will do with him.

Nothing is working in Minnesota and Yeo is a terrible coach.

It's his first season over in america, he's got PPG in the AHL and not doing to bad in the games up at NHL level.

Minnesota won't do anything, stop being silly.

Seto-Granlund-Coyle. Sniper-Playmaker-Board player. They should stick with that and reunite their top line. Heatley is garbage without Parise and Koivu insulating him.

How is asking a question about a player being silly?

And "what will Minnesota do with him" could mean many things, slick. Maybe like...send him back to the AHL? Maybe switch his position? Maybe trade him?

Having a guy who is playing the 4th line and/or being healthy scratched isn't productive for a player like him.
