I would just replace Frattin with McClement and put Brown in.

I think that'll be fine for a week.

Sounds like a knee scope, which is common for someone who had a major surgery just months prior. Manage the cartilage, and clean up the scar tissue. Wouldn't be too concerned. Wouldn't be surprised if he was back for the 23rd against Ottawa.

Scar tissue is removed, and the good cartilage is checked up on to ensure that its strengthening properly.

What's with the Carter Ashton lovefest? The guy has been awful in the A for most of the year. He was even worse last season in the NHL.

Inserting Mcclemment is the correct choice. He has always seemed ready for 3rd line duties. He at least wont hinder that line defensively.

It gives Steckel the opportunity to win some key draws and get back to the bench.

Here are all the mentions of Ashton in this thread.

It's so easy to beat up on people who don't even exist isn't it?

Good luck man. I've had the procedure twice, and was back training not long after. It's minimally invasive.

He has not been awful at all.

He hasn't score much, granted, but he's been great other than that.

Eakins has nothing but good things to say about him.

You should watch the Marlies.

Thanks for clarifying. The more reported on it, it seems like it's more of a standard follow up procedure than it is anything really serious. I'm pretty sure he finished the game against the Flyers so it couldn't have been too pressing. While it sucks to lose him at all from our line-up, there doesn't seem to be a need to be overly concerned.

The sky is falling!

I guess we'll see how good Kadri really is without his buddy riding shotgun.

Better to get all these injuries out of the way now than in round 1 of the playoffs

Hands up as to who thought at the beginning of the season that people would be bemoaning the loss of Matt Frattin? Reimer? Absolutely, but not Frattin. Nice to see that development

Brown is garbage and having a lineup with Orr, Mclaren and Brown is putrid and not needed.

Just keep the lines the same, DO NOT **** with the chemistry

Just call up Ashton or Hamilton to take Frattins spot for 2-3 games.
