NHL realignment would reportedly put the Panthers in division w/ Tb,Bos,Buff,MTL, Tor, Ott. No word on playoff format, reportedly.

Homer must be napping on all of these young, under utilized/struggling players. Loktionov for a 5th and Tangradi for a 7th? I would have taken a chance on both if we had the contract space.

I'm going to use some terrible logic for a second, excuse me.

The Klotz was deemed to be worth a 3rd round pick. Tangradi is now worth a 7th round pick. Since The Klotz has never had his value concretely redefined, he is now worth more than Tangradi.

I believe we don't have a contract spot

That leaves, I assume, Carolina and Washington with the Atlantic division. Our division gets even easier, per relative travel distance

Might as well rename it the Greyhound or Amtrak division.

I'm interested to see it all when it gets done.

If they are going the 4 conference way, there's 2 conferences with 8 and 2 with 7 which of course shows the league wants expansion.

I think putting Tampa and Florida with the Northeast Division is going to help their attendance a lot with snowbirds being displaced. Could be good for the league.

At this point, I think even Sestitov has more value than Tangradi

7th round pick though. I'd take it.

Can't trade him for a 7th boss.

He's an up and coming power forward

I meant Tangradi. But I think we should offer Sestito to Chicago for their 1st and maybe Nick Leddy. Think that'd get it done for Homer?

It's because 30 is not divisible by 4 evenly.

No kidding?! But 2 is, so you have two conferences of 15 instead of one with 16 and the other one with 14. Why should one conference have two extra teams battling for the same amount of playoff spots that the east has?

I know. Not sure if there's anyone in the organization who could have been let go to make space. Laliberte?

Sounds bad. These are the risks of playing a sport that requires knife-shoes.

I may be wrong here but from my understanding the western conference teams are the ones pushing the most for realignment. Giving the west 2 extra teams would compromise with the eastern conference teams who aren't pushing it for it as hard as them.

Just saw the replay. Probably bad. He couldn't use that leg.

Whoa, did anyone see that OT winner for Phoenix against Colorado? The Colorado defenseman was trying to clear the puck along the boards, and it bounced right of the referee in front of the goal to Doan, who was in a prime shooting position to finish it off.

Yeah he looks like he was in a lot of pain. Doesn't look like Cooke did it intentionally...
