It looks like Burns isn't coming back anytime soon. So if he is on your team Id suggest you drop him

McLaren move probably clears room for Demers.

McLellan optimistically mentioned that Burns could be back sometime in February.

"At least" 2 weeks more. I'd say the end of the month is a more likely return date.

So I don't usually do this, but what's up with Boyle's health?
He has been in and out of the lineup for over a week with the flu.
This reminds me a bit of Chris Pronger's flu. That was a bad, bad flu. (Severe concussion)
Is he alright? Tell me some good news! Or bad... if you must.

Word from news folks (based on Sharks "announcements"/coach pressers) is that Boyle has the flu (and a re-occurrence for today's game).
No concussion is suspected/mentioned in any news.
One person tweeted Sharks beat writer that this year's flu often has a "rebound" incident worse than the first.

Surprise scratch. Back-to-back games, so perhaps he does not have the lungs/legs "enough" to go.
Hoping for further news after game.

Thanks for the info, if you hear anymore, post it here? I'll be checking back.
Thank again.

Probably. Seemed like he was sat for fitness reasons.

Game has been great tonight (when the refs let them actually play). Just a quick question for you regarding my fantasy team: I snagged Thornton in our opening draft and he was tearing it up for me to start the season and I was just curious if his play has declined that much since early on or if his lack of production is more based on the entire team not playing to the level they were to start the season.
Right now I have an offer on the table where I would be giving up Thornton and receiving Kovalchuk in return. I'm only hesitant to accept because I feel like Joe will start lighting it up again as soon as I accept.

What's the deal with Havlat?
Canes fan coming in peace. Asking primarily from a fantasy perspective, but what's going on with Havlat's play/production this year. I see he's still getting 15-20 minutes a night, but putting up goose eggs almost every night. Is it symptomatic of the team's struggles, or is he the Sharks version of Jussi Jokinen this year? Thanks.

There ya go. He hasn't been good, but he seems to go however the team goes.
