I'm surprised but a power forward is a kind of player that can rebound if he just start to crash the net like a crazy mofo.

I'm sure he still has some upside could be a steal for the jets low risk high reward move there.

Well...He wasn't going to beat out Kunitz, Neal or Dupuis. Boychuk has been playing decent with Malkin and Neal (better than Tangradi has) same with Dustin Jeffrey. And as for the bottom 6, he doesn't bring enough to push guys like Cooke, Kennedy, Glass or Adams out.

So yes, he couldn't beat his competition.

I'm really hoping he makes it in the 'Peg. LW is a fairly deep position on the Jets, so his best shot may be on the right side, either as a bottom sixer (replacing someone like a Thorburn) or maybe taking Kyle Wellwood's spot.

I think we developed him horrendously, and it was fairly obvious from the get-go that Disco Dan hated Tangradi. Not quick enough for Disco.

All I know is you win Stanley Cups with big forwards that grind opponents down. Tangradi would have been perfect on our third line, but alas it was second or fourth line for him all the time. He was a perfect replacement for Matt Cooke (UFA after this year), but alas he wasn't going to survive here with Bylsma.

I hope he rips it up with the Jets.

See Ellerby and Loktionov last week.

A 7th was less than I figured for him.

2007 is a cursed year for a lot of prospects.

This is like saying Leafs fans constantly offer Grabovski + 2nd for Malkin. I believe you that it happened, because we do absolutely make some ****** offers, but I am also literally prepared to bet you 95% of offers in those very threads were way way way better.

Throw the word "rebuild" into every other post that relates to your team and you pretty much just summed up what it's like to be a Flames fan on HF.

My point was more, that Leafs fans do offer this ****, but it is a minority of them.

Anyway, I do get that is annoying, but I also really think our teams would be a nice match, if Iggy were actually to be traded at the deadline. Obviously for a whole lot more than Tangradi + 2nd, but you would want younger assets and won´t get young roster players from contenders. And, well, we have some good most likely ready for next season ones.

Crap for crap. . . Slight edge for the Pens as the 7th has a marginally better chance of being a full-time NHLer than Tangradi does. He's horribad. No sarcasm needed.

I can't help but think Pittsburgh has another deal in the works and wanted to at least get a pick instead of losing him on waivers.. Otherwise you'd think they just keep him..

He couldn't even rip a piece of wet paper.

Granted Disco Dan isn't the best coach for bringing in young guys, Tangradi has shown less than nothing at the NHL level. He's a fringe NHLer at best, most likely a career minor leaguer. He's Luca Bazooka 2.0.

Damn, Tangradi is one overrated piece of ****, a 7th rounder, might as well give the Pens used toilet paper while you're at it.

I don't think the Penguins have another deal in the works at the moment. Boychuk has been playing some decent hockey, and Beau Bennett is in Pittsburgh to see team doctors, there is speculation that he will stay in Pittsburgh and join the team, but nothing confirmed.

Trading Tangradi, we have 13 forwards, 7 defensemen and 2 goalies, Beau Bennett can join the team because of the trade.
