I couldn't even identify the 50 states on a US map.
i'm certain less than 1% of the US can
edit: including me

So anyway, my mother confronted me that I'm not being part of the family because of my college work and research, and she demands it to change instantly. So, that being said, I'm now "Forbidden" to take any exams or go to science labs. Oh well, she's paying for me to fail now.
People's general knowledge of nations is pretty terrible. Someone in my class didn't know where Central America is. I mean, it's right in the name too.

I gave this junior a ride home today from school. We got into what we wanted to do after graduation and she said she wanted to 'make, like, tons of money but just chill' and not have to do any work. I wished her good luck.

Willing to bet she thinks Asia is a country.
Well, I want to do that too. In fact, most people wanna make a lot of money doing nothing. Difference being we realize it's not gonna happen
When I was a Junior, I took a Global Issues class that was comprised of Seniors. I watched as ten 18 year olds struggled to locate the United Kingdom on a world map. This process took maybe ten minutes.
Reminds me of my high school U.S. History class when a girl couldn't locate Washington D.C. or LA on a map. The teacher had to direct her for a few moments until she finally found it.
Fortunately, the girl was good looking, so she may have something to rely on other than intelligence.

Low intelligence can be a bit of a turnoff for me but it isn't the end all be all.
Still can't get over boring. Nothing is less attractive than a boring person when it comes to personality.

"Low intelligence" is definitely a turn off for me. I'm not sure if I would automatically call someone who couldn't locate LA or D.C. on a map unintelligent. Geography typically isn't taught in U.S. schools anymore, so that's something you'd have to discover on your own.
From my own experiences, boring is all relative. I'm sure many people would find my hobbies and interests 'boring', just as I would find others hobbies to be boring. If a person is not willing to pursue others hobbies and try to have a good time, than that would most certainly be a turn off for me.
Perfect first date is coming up to my room and watching documentaries with me.
I hear ya on this one, SFW. I would love to date a girl who *gasp* picked up a non-fiction book from time to time (or any other piece of intellectually stimulating reading material).

Boring is not necessarily the subject matter. It's how the conversation is delivered. I've met people who can tell me about their latest grocery shopping trip and I find myself enamored with the story because they know how to tell it.
I really like this girl and all, but she is a brutal texter
She told me she doesn't really text a lot and her friend said she's a bit awkward over text, so I'm not worried at all, but damn, it is so hard to keep a conversation going. I have to try soooooo hard to keep it going
