Leave it to HF to make a near duplicate of another poll, and have entirely different results.

The playoffs are a completely different game.

Not at all the same question.

The other poll was asking who was playing better RIGHT NOW.

Vanek is playing better than Malkin right now. Would you take Vanek over Malkin for a playoff run?

Vanek is better than malkin on a small sample size, karlsson is better in general, full sample size, not only right now. terrible comparison. But I get it. Charas a big body made for playoff hockey.

There!

Nothing wrong with that.

One of them is a grizzled veteran, one is a journeyman, and one is a sophmore.

It's silly to compare their playoff abilities. One guy has had many more opportunities to hone that ability.
This is the correct answer.

Until Karlsson proves he can do it in the playoffs it is easily Chara. Playoffs are a different type of hockey.

Real shame that Karlsson is out now though.

Yup, the playoffs are a war.

At this point, I have no doubt that every GM in the league would take Chara for playoff hockey.

Granted I have only made it through one thread but I am surprised I have not seen Doughty mentioned yet...Still have 6 more to go so I am sure I will see it...I am going to go with Chara on this one as we have yet to see how well Weber will be in a playoff setting without Suter.

Did you really just use Kronwall's name in the same sentance as the others mentioned? WOW...Karlsson over Kronwall for any playoff run and its beyond AINEC.

Karlsson but what does this have to do with the question? I mean this is way out in left field as it pertains the the quetion...I think we all understand how great Karlsson was at such a young age.

I gotta go with Chara. The Habs have Subban and Markov for the offense. They would need Chara for the shut down quality he brings.
