Only 4 wins in 10 games isn't awe inspiring. But enough of this non-'Yotes talk. How well do you think the team is doing?

Not as bad as the Washington Capitals.

I do not understand how such a talented team has taken such a turn for the worse in the past 3ish seasons.

I don't see how George McPhee keeps his job.

Also, when the **** will the Flames finally rebuild?

Marc-Andre Fleury gets speared by his own teammate, dives, loses his mask, and gives up a goal.

Comedy gold.

Could be a good night for the Coyotes. Gained a point on the Sharks, and the Blues are up 3-1 on the Ducks right now. Dallas is only 1 point ahead of us with same amount of games played, and the Kings are 4 points back of us with 3 games in hand. Pacific is looking to be a difficult finish as usual. It will be interesting to see how this season turns out with so much of our games against division foes.

I mean hell, we play the Ducks 3 times in a row I believe in 2 weeks.

Ducks win in a shootout. I should just stop posting in this thread when non-pacific teams are doing well. As soon as I posted Anaheim came back on tear to tie it up.

Kings scored to tie the Red Wings with 53 seconds left and seal the bonus point - until Detroit scored with 5 seconds left to snatch that point. LAK do nothing with their Game In Hand advantage.

Finally teams are catching up in our GP. We are 1 point behind 8th, tied in games. At this point, I'm rooting for Chicago to beat everyone in front of us. They are pulling ahead in the West, and it just helps us if they keep winning. Nashville gains 0 points tonight.

I'm with you on that one. It would have been a bucket full of optimism to consider capturing the #1 seed in the West this year, but of course as a fan you always think about it. I'm already at the point where I've "accepted" that the Hawks will finish ahead of us, so the more teams they beat the better.

Let's say every team in our division got 2 points in their next games, and all of us in the Pacific were tied in games played:

Anaheim - 21 PTS
SJS - 18 PTS
Dallas - 15 PTS
PHX - 14 PTS
LAK - 14 PTS

But this isn't the case.

Anaheim plays Chi, Det, Columbus next.
San Jose plays Nashville, Chi, St Louis
Dallas plays Edm, Calgary, Vancouver
We play Nashville, Columbus, Calgary
Kings play Columbus, Chi, Edmonton

I meant it's not the case in that our division foes suck and they won't get 2 points in their games to catch up to us in Games Played.

I really wish the Blackhawks hadn't given up that goal to the Ducks late in the 3rd to send it into OT and give the Ducks at least one point. I thought the Blackhawks were suppose to be the best team in hockey right now. Come on.

Dallas gets 2 points, Anaheim gets 2 points(Thanks Chicago.....), and the Sharks get 1 point. Crappy night if you are a Coyotes fan.

This is a sad day for the Coyotes. The Blue Jackets just fired Scott Howson. Somebody needs to send Maloney flowers, as he's just lost his favorite victim.

Not even going to lie, got a kick out of Karlsson getting hurt. Sens fans have been especially obnoxious now that their team is halfway decent. Maybe it's just the loud ones. Trying to blame it on Cooke is absurd, though.

Anyone know if the Coyotes have moved over to cut resistant socks? I think Sens fans should worry about what their organization could have done to prevent their franchise player from getting hurt. This franchise went through the same issue with Selanne 20 years ago when the cut resistant technology didn't exist.

LA loses to Chicago, good news. These 3 games comping up in a row against Anaheim are going to be HUGE. We need to close the gap a bit. They are just doing so well right now.

Insane goal by Datsyuk tonight. He went through the entire Preds team end to end to score.
