What current player do you miss the most?

Him and Ribeiro might be getting points but I don't miss them at all.

I'm pretty sure it could easily challenge for a playoff spot.

Overall, it would be a much better team than the current one we have now IMO...

I would take that forward group before this one any day, except for Scott Gomez !!

You know some guys get a reputation for some reason but i've never thought Tanguay was soft with us. In fact I was surprised how much he competed along the boards for his size.

Why do we include McDo? He has never played with the Habs so in theory we can't "miss him".

I miss Lapierre for his energy and how he would drive other teams' mad.

I miss Komisarek with his big open ice hits that would make the Bruins mad.

I miss Kovalev for his Magic.

I miss Hal Gill cause we had a decent PK with him(and Gorges) and because how he would drive Sid crazy.

I miss Halak and Dominic Moore for the 2010 playoffs.

I miss Jeff Halpern cause at least back then we could win faceoffs.

I miss Kostopoulos and Begin, that's what a crash and bang line is all about.

I miss Latendresse, not because he was any good but I miss him just as the "Great French Hope" that made me pull for my team a little more.

I miss Souray and Streit for the PP but not for anything else.

I miss Christobal Huet cause he was all heart.

As for people saying "McDonaugh", he didn't play here so we can't miss him.

So, everyone seems to agree we have a glut of small centers, lack size on the wings and a rugged crease clearing defence man, yet most of you wants Koivu back?
What need does he fill right now on this team? Having Koivu on this teams means one of DD and Eller has to go. It would make the team instantly better but set us back in the future, probably giving us another bunch of 4-12 finishes.

I'd take McDo or a healthy Souray or Wiz.

EDIT: OTOH, a first line of Pacioretty - Koivu - Cole... would be something...
