Pho's definitely my 2nd favorite hangover food. However I find that if you're getting take-out, pho doesn't hold up very well, it has to be fresh.

Plus it spills everywhere. Best pho is in the dives by a mile.

Bit confused. by "the dives" do you mean dive restaurants? Or is it some kind of hip term for the Maldives?

It's pretty simple, out here we have poutine gravy but honestly all that matters is that you like the gravy. If you don't like the gravy it ruins the poutine.

Ooo okay... Well good cuties they're key ! But I've had great poutine even with mozzerella chese...

Owner of the sports resto that was at the arena I used to coach in was a cheapskate...
That's vague I know, but I now of multiple hockey high ups from my area on the site. Gotta be careful.

Blatant lies.

Take two microwave pizzas. Heat them together. Fry bacon and scrambled eggs. Add bacon&eggs between the pizzas. Eat.

That's a hangover food.

Also... Halfway through this month and I'm already almost broke. Nice.

I don't recall it being a Swedish invention

But yeah, the more grease and meat there is, the better. That's the rule of thumb for hangover foods.

Also, avoid drinking orange soft drinks or juices with alcohol, otherwise you won't be able to benefit from their incredible effects in terms of easing hangover.

Yeah, that's about right. I don't know why there isn't a market for individual-sized microwavable quiches in the States. They're delicious.

In other news, I've finally given in to peer pressure and started reading Homestuck. I've spent the past 10+ hours reading and I think I'm about 2/3rds the way through. I was dubious, but I gotta say...

It's pretty awesome.

You mean, uh, what?

I think you just forgot English mid-sentence there.

I am now able to recognize what his avatar depicts.

Sorry, I haven't slept in like, 36 hours... I'm a bit off.

Oh, I know that feeling. It's great when you're perfectly awake but can't concentrate on anything at all.

I always see poutine served in a skillet. The hot fries and gravy keep the cheese melty.

Omg Pho is the best hangover food ever. The place on Nicolette and 18th is the best I've experienced. A whole in the wall but the food is delicious.

You're only a couple years behind!

Get some caffeine. When I read through Homestuck, it took me almost a week of reading it 6-8 hours straight a day. Its word count is higher than War and Peace, and that was a couple years ago.

You're like 3/8 of the way through I think. John doing the windy thing for the first time was wayyyyyyy long ago.

Oh well.
Sprite works just as well, and pineapple juice can be very good, too. Do you have mint liquor in the states? Mix that with cocoa. Pure awesomeness.
