If he doesn't turn his game around, I'm curious as to what Minnesota will do with him.
You probably just read that thread dedicated to him on the Prospects forum. Based on that thread, you'd think he'd be a point per game forward this season.

Who wins this fantasy hockey trade?

Team A gets:

King Henrik
Giroux

Team B gets:

Cam Ward
Toews

Team A's goalies: Rinne, Miller, MAF, Ward
Team B's goalies: Henrik, Rask, Lehtonen

Technically this isn't a fantasy hockey thread but Team A wins that every time if it's a keeper league, irrespective of other players. Henrik > Ward most years by a pretty decent margin, and Giroux is a better point producer than Toews, whether or not he's more clutch / a better leader. He's going to be a 30/60 guy most years (assuming he has good talent around him) where Toews is more like 30/45 most years.

This year... Ward is playing better than normal and Lundqvist not as good but that could turn around quick. The Giroux / Toews dynamic doesn't change IMO. Giroux is going to end up the better point producer even as good as the Hawks are. As bad as the Flyers started and as good as the Hawks started, Toews is still only a few points ahead of Giroux. Won't last IMO.

I like the "real deal" card better, but honestly these are ridiculous!

There are more valentine themed Pens cards? Sounds like the makings of an epic thread with comedic undertones.

Holy heck, look at those goalies.

How many teams are in that league? Two?

There are 6 teams. It's a work league. The two best goalies(Anderson and lehtonen) were free agents)

It's for this year. I might try and see if hell part with MAF instead.

Isles being dominated by the Rangers 2-0

And they're being outshot 10-1.

Really? All the Isles fans were lining up on the edge of the cliff ready to jump.
I switched over to Canes / Leafs. Eric Staal is a sick sick hockey player. He made a pass lying prone on the ice leading to a goal.

It's 3-3 now and the Isles aren't happy. There was some crazy PPG and the Isles think the ref was going to blow the whistle or something

Carolina's top two lines are fun to watch. Up 3-1 on Toronto. Skinner just got bowled over by Fraser beside the net.

The Islanders were losing 2-0 and being outshot 10-0 and I closed that game.

I saw a stat on NHL network today that Carolina was leading the league in shots on goal.
The isles were getting their behinds handed to them early; I guess momentum changed to put it mildly.

Crazy if true considering how many times Semin has hit the goal posts. I swear he's had more than 10.

Also, you guys need to switch away from the Isles~Rangers, nothing happened after you did!

I flipped on Yotes/Preds to check out Rinne and how crappy Weber has been. Did I hear right that he only has 1 pt all season? I think Tyler Myers only has a goal as well.

Yup. Weber's only point is an assist vs LA last week

I wonder what his deal is; is he suffering from the loss of Suter or is he just having an incredibly horrible start?

With all the games every night, it feels like we've already seen a couple months worth of action but in reality, its been less than a month. So I suppose he has time to recover.
