You're like 3/8 of the way through I think. John doing the windy thing for the first time was wayyyyyyy long ago.
Okay, screw that.

Actually, it does sound intriguing... Hmm...

You need to read Hajime No Ippo. It's 1004 chapters of around 20 pages each, but it's very good and still ongoing. Yeah, it's a manga. I was suspicious at first too, because I'm not a big fan of mangas, but that one is great.

The main character is like a tiny Japanese Mike Tyson who is bullied at school until a pro boxer kicks the bullies in their respective bottoms. He starts wondering what it's like to be strong, and wants to start boxing. He is 16 at the start of the manga.

I won't spoil more, but it's very, very good.

Yes.

I was part of a group of soldiers that were living in the Fallout 3-style apocalyptic wasteland, and we cleared out a school full of booby traps and locked doors and stuff. People moved in, and I was one of the only soldiers young enough to also be in the school. So at our opening commencement ceremony, I notice Jonas Brodin sitting behind me.

I strike up conversation, we play Madden 13 together, and then he starts insisting we go "Sun showering". We go into a lockerroom thing and he opens up a sun roof in the cieling and then stands there with a goofy smile. Then a bunch of 10/10 girls come into the locker room and start standing in the sun as well. A few minutes later, Jonas wants to go on a walk somewhere, but somehow I don't have any shoes on.

So I go back to the main building to grab my shoes, and a few 1950s style cars pull up and a bunch of Vampires jump out and start shooting everything. I grab a gun and help defend the school, but then a giant robot(50-60 feet tall) attacks and starts shooting missiles everywhere. Most of the school is destroyed before we manage to blow up the robot.

I grab my shoes and go back to where I left Brodin but he's not there anymore. Dream over.

Close. Two Totino's party pizzas, baked. Sandwich a layer of prosciutto between them, and then deep fry. Garnish with powdered sugar.

Or just drink straight Finlandia and do away with hangovers forever.

Picked this up today. Figure by the time the snow melts I can ride it.

Sort of have a lot of plans for it. Have lots of stuff being shipped and it's going to be able to go from around town-type of SS cruiser, to a rigid 29er, and then a front suspension hard tail trail bike.

Wow, long way to go then. I'm going to take another bash at it after the game today.

Speaking of War and Peace though, without sounding like a twit, It does seem to me that Homestuck is rather more than a web comic. One could easily argue that it is literature, really.

1. I'm engaged now
2. Couldn't find any food at midnight so I'm at a hotel bar drinking and eating free peanuts

Congrats Jarick.

The way you've talked about this gal and the previous, it sounds like you made a better choice this go around.

Thanks! She's in full on wedding planning mode now. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Congrats, Jarick.

Always good to see someone not afraid to jump back in there. Especially with how you made the first one sound.

My fiance has been there since we got engaged... Wedding is in May, and I can't wait for it to be over.
