Not to mention...

Our #2D Cowen
Our #1W Michalek
Our 2nd line winger Latendresse

Just decimated. Hopefully they ship out Gonchar this year. Maybe even Alfie to a contender if he wants

Even as a devote Sens-hater, it's painful to see a promising young team decimated like that.

Terrible, terrible news about Karlsson. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Great young superstar. I hope he fully recovers asap.

Our injury woes are bad this year but damn, Ottawa is on another level. Simply horrific luck for them.

Watching Karlsson take that first stride and screaming in pain made me feel a bit sick.

First Spezza and now Karlsson? Damn, those are huge blows .. If the walrus can get the Sens into the playoffs after those major injuries, that is very impressive

Without a #1D and a #1C now, Sens are just Leafs 2.0

Sucks for the sens. I only hate sens on match days and I like several of their players, Karlsson is one of them.

They had a thin squad even before all their injuries but this is just plain silly. Feel bad for them.

Actually, Reimer may have been the Leafs best player, just like Anderson for the Sens.

If Anderson goes down, we could see the tank warming up in Ottawa.

Trying to pin him against the boards? Neautralize one of the best players in the game?

Its pretty simple, you lift the knee to try and get Karlsson off balance while keeping your own, because it was at high speed Cooke lost his and the blade ended up cutting him.

An inch either way and Karlsson is totally fine. Watch it at high speed rather than a screen shot and it looks much less deliberate.

Ottawa is more than likely screwed this season, but they'll benefit by adding a top draft pick to their core next season.

Elbow to the head and no excuse for that leg to be off the ice, this is cooke the crook at his worst.

Even tho i loath the Sens, this hurts us all.

70% cut to Karlsson's achilles.

3 to 4 months recovery time per Bryan Murray

I mean I don't care about the Sens, but I certainly will miss watching Karlsson play. I love his style.

He tweeked his knee during warmup yesterday, it's day-to-day. Although knee issues for Michalek aren't uncommon.

I do feel bad for the Sens, only hate them when we play them.

Still hate Alfredsson though, can't wait until he retires.

Cowen is as injury prone as they get and he's a top 4D.

Michalek is more top 6 than a #1 winger.

Lantendresse is a bottom six player.
