Thoughts and condolences to the family and co-workers of my fallen San Bernardino comrade yesterday. The only solace is the bad guy appears to be neutralized. What a crazy situation.

"The ‘now’ is very good in Chicago. The ‘now’ back in the days when they were drafting first, second and third? It wasn’t very good. But the core of fans that stuck with them, if you asked them now, I betcha they’d say it was worth it.” - Kevin Cheveldayoff

Speaking of Funkybunny, have you been following his garbage collection "debacle", as well as his Canada Post ruining his fence.

I laugh.

I honestly haven't been keeping up with him lately. I usually check in every few weeks.

IDK really. I was just skating around some guy, he hooked me at an odd angle and kinda spun my body but my legs and head were still going forward I guess and I ended up tweaking a back muscle.

I had a re-occuring back problem when I was a kid 13-14, so I really hope that this is not the re-start of that, it took me like 6-12 months of regular chiropractic appointments to shake it then...

I'd be in, but it's so frustrating to do these because I inevitably get smoked by the person in the office that chooses based on which teams color is "more dominant" or the basis of what mascot would beat up the other teams mascot.

Well in his defense the midget's father technically assaulted him while he was holding his child.

He was being an @$$hole by calling a kid a midget though, but the midget's team parents were complaining that every hit on the kid was a headshot.

All he did was touch his shoulder to get his attention, harmless. But the rules that are in place for parents state no physical contact.

I'm not condoning what he was doing/saying, but both parties were over-reacting wayyyyyyy too much over a hockey game for 10-12 year olds.

Can anyone here explain why we picked up Peluso?

Best answer I have is he was a free depth player for the IceCaps now. At least he's better than Wright.

Yeah it's not on video, it was off camera right before he turned to mouth off. Either he touched him or was reaching out but since the angry guy wasn't even facing the glasses guy I'm assuming he touched his shoulder since he turned quickly and went, "Don't touch me or I'll cave your glasses in."

No. He must clear waivers to go to the AHL. There the Blues will simply claim him back and assign him to their AHL affliate. This is in place for the sole purpose to prevent this exact situation. Any player claimed off waivers must clear again to go back down. Provided no other team puts a claim in other than the original team, the original team may reclaim the player and send them to minors immediately.

And the idea that Peluso is better in any way than Wright is laughable.

I was harrassed for weeks to enter one of these brackets. I hate basketball, no nothing about it. I finally agreed, picked teams based on the nicest jerseys, and beat 90% of the entrants

See. You're the kind of person that makes those things nearly pointless.

Well both are crappy 4th liners so it doesn't matter. Plugging up roster spots with guys who will never play (or only play when there are injuries) is superflurous.
