Did you ask him if he's Tom Noonan's long lost brother?

Again did not read/listen/whatever.
But clearly we should be trading Kadri., Along with Frattin, Gards and Rielly.

Thank you very much we appreciate it. The podcast has really taken off and doing great numbers. Its been a real pleasure for an average fan guy like me to interview some of these people.

Making fun of the Habs is still my favorite thing to do

I'd love if you guys can bring over some scouts to give us insight about the whole process.

I loved how Zeis talked about what it takes to get into his field. I'd love if a scouts can come over and enlighten us on that.

Great interview.

Mike is the only reporter worth reading/listening to at the Sun.

I've been on the kadri bandwagon since he was drafted, I hoped the tough love treatment would pay off like it did for Burke with Perry and Getzlaf...he's not going anywhere now.

sick mitts brah

There are some grumblings on the trade rumors section that we should trade a less expensive Kadri coming into his own, and possibly a future 1st liner for a more expensive Ryan O'Reilly.

Don't see the benefit in that. I say, if Kadri is eventually traded save him, in a package for a legitimate #1 center if one becomes available.

**On a side note, Kadri has done well playing with Frattin(and vice-versa)...I'm curious to see how his production will be without Frattin beside him.

Why would O'Reilly be worth all that? Kadri is a potential first line center O'Reilly is a potential second line center.

Yeah, don't see a benefit for moving Kadri out for someone more expensive, especially when he has been playing well. Don't really see a need to move Kadri as it is. Once he improves in the faceoff circle will be even more effective out there.

I think Kadri will survive without Frattin. He was producing just fine before Lupul got injured and Frattin was called up in the first place. It might dip a bit depending on who ends up no his line though.

On the trade thread O'Reilly is a future 1st. line Selke winning stud center who is going to lead the Leafs into the promised land.

Moving Kadri for that is a no brainer.

Unless of course O'Reilly is just the beneficiary of getting the most minutes on a bad team and getting a decent amount of points but follow the Stajan example of falling off once he's thrust out of his comfort zone?

Desjardins estimates that about 40% of the game is captured by Corsi analysis.

You can say that again. I'm in Ottawa so I'm stuck with the likes of Garrioch, Brennan and the rest of those imbeciles. Mike's columns are a breath of fresh air.

My thoughts exactly. I would be very surprised if a player with that limited offensive skillset could ever be a 1st liner.
