With Gleason out, I do wonder who the second alternate captain will be tonight. Char? Harry? Corvo?

They lost 6-5 in OT after blowing a four goal lead in the fourth period. I'm expecting a similar result here. You also get mad props if you remember who the goalie for that fiasco was.
John Grahame?

Based on the "In the System" page it looks like 23 goes to Welsh if/when he gets called up

Leighton right? I'm pretty sure Grahamme was not on the roster that season.

Yeah, I seem to remember it being Leighton...

lol this defense is just horrid tonight. Might have to score 8 to keep us in it. Anytime you have to skate Corvo and Sanguinetti, and then ice a call-up.... OUCH...

I wish we were playing Ward tonight. I know Ellis needs to play, but Ward seems to really be in his groove now.

It seems like only last week that I was *****ing about the lack of news that comes out of this organization on game day.

Went back too far with Grahame... I guess I'd blocked Leighton out of my memory...

If Gleason can play I'd still rather see Jordan, but I doubt that happens.

It's actually a baby photo of Leighton.

Good question about the second "A" though...my gut says Harrison, even though I'd love to see Larose with one.

Even if Gleason thinks he can go, I wouldn't be surprised to see Muller dress 7 D just to be safe.

One of my coworkers has fainting goats that are about to kid. I'll be sure to suggest she names one of them Leighton.

Leafs have their backup in and are missing their best sniper.

Hopefully Gleason can sober up by game time, but even if he can't I'm still optimistic. Glad Jordan finally got a shot tho.

Awesome GDT btw

If she goes through with it, I will make my avatar a Clowney picture for a week.

Make it happen.

Anyway Leafs are without

Lupul
Frattin
Brown
Gunnarsson
Gardiner
Reimer

All due to injury or slow recovery from injury. This should be intresting, barren lineup vs. barren lineup.

JR should trade a pick for Komisarek right now. I heard he's in the State

Just tell him to turn the other way when going to the locker room and give him a red and black jersey instead of a white and blue one.

Also, post of the year candidate from the Leafs GDT

It costs a ton of money to put kids through years of playing hockey with less than a 1% chance the kid will ever make the NHL. We are seeing the ramifications of the high cost of hockey on families and as a result a weak talent pool year after year that feeds the NHL. The on ice product sucks Mr Bettman. Get rid of the count and contract to 20 teams get rid of all these money losing bad market teams and scrub players. I wouldn't pay a dime to see this crappy 30 team product. The NHL is over loaded with 3rd and 4th line plugs..i'm not entertained! A report out yesterday said something like 37% of people now expect to spend less on the NHL brand. Gee no kidding i wonder why. They don't even give a rats ass about hockey in the U.S. they think it's a goon sport like the WWE the Americans just don't care for the NHL product.

If the Leafs can't make the playoffs in this god awful NHL in this shortened season it would be beyond laughable. Ottawa has lost Spezza and now Karlsson Sens should be falling back in the standings Philly is a joke Holmgren has ruined that team Buffalo has an AHL level scoring attack the Habs are a disgrace and the Caps are an AHL team with a disinterested and under performing Ovechkin. Then of course there are the usual bottom feeders like the Islanders Florida Winnipeg/Atlanta. If the Leafs can't make the playoffs this year...

Too bad 23 is unavailable, but he should go with 45 instead of 47.

I'd love to see the confused reactions to a Jordan 45 hockey jersey.
