Yeah, I know. Back then I was an easily impressed hockey fan and was seeing him as a future top-5 in the NHL. Times have changed

If you compare him to Mayer and Delmas you see what others see.

Well, to his defense, he was really, really impressive in his rookie year. He was making highlight reel saves night after night.

He needs some Hitchcock badly. His system really worked for him (and Elliot/Halak).
As for Tokarski, I guess it deepens our nonexistent goalie prospect depth.

Cédrick Desjardins had a good start to the year and had a couple shutouts but then he started to suck badly. I kinda feel good in a way that he'll never be our backup goalie, him being québecois I wouldn't like to see Price have a bad sequence and have to hear the nutjobs say that Desjardins should get the #1 spot.

You needn't fear. Even the most rabid Québecois aren't that fou.

He's from NB.....so they wouldn't demand he be the starter, just demand he star every 5th game.cause he's francophone...but not a quebecker.

I think they were just afraid he would steal Price's job like when gauthier traded him for Ramo.

Well, actually, I think he started playing hockey in Québec only at the midget level, so he is not a Quebécois.

His parents re Quebecers, and he moved back to Quebec at a young age to play hockey.
Doesn't matters, really.

Kind of off topic, but anyone else notice how bad Myers was on that Tokarsky save that made McGuire mess his pants?
He gets bumped behind the net, then just continues gliding into the opposite corner leaving Wilson alone for what seemed like forever in front.
Glad to see he's improved in that aspect...
