I'm taping both feeds and looking forward to the new lines. I am expecting a game best line of Bailey, Frans and KO. I have been very judgemental about KO over the years, but can't complain about the effort the last several games now.
He's up to speed now, but he has to learn what his team's timing is all about- I think you'll see much better passing tonight, helped by a great cycle. I think you'll see KO draw an early penalty on the fore check.
Not sure if the PP can score 3-4 goals every game, but their timing and puck control will also be better tonight. Expect tighter passing from what should be a confident bunch. They aren't going to go O-for many nights with the sublime Viznovsky coming on board. He was a magnet for the Carolina penalty killers last game, and posted a cool two assists in the 6-4 loss to Hurricanes on Monday.
Islanders' coach Jack Capuano would have liked to have seen more on the defensive side from the newest Islander, but Viznovsky will need a little time to bring things up to speed. He hasn't played in a game in almost a month, and is also getting use to what his teammates' names are, never mind any systems.
He was still practicing with Slovan Bratislava though and keep in mind that he had been playing the entire season, that should be an advantage over the guys that started playing only after the lockout.
