I think getting hemmed in our own end and absolutely struggling to gain zone entry is a sign of being outclassed. The Bruins made us our *****es last game.

Ah, that explains it. He's giving the players meth when they start looking slow!

I agree that it should have never happened. I played goalie in soccer for eight years. I know what it's like to be the last line of defense and take all the blame. But if the defense let a righty come flanking down my left side, and he shot the ball right at me and it somehow went right through me, that's just as much my fault as it is the defense's fault for letting him shoot the ball. Shots are gonna happen, you can't hold a team to zero shots. When a save needs to be made, a save needs to be made. Plain and simple.

I guess the old age fans are blame the goalie never. It was practically a 180 degree angle. That is an AWFUL goal. Almost as bad as the Stralman goal on Tuesday. I hate how our goaltenders are sacred cows on this board. At least Hank has earned it. Biron is an inconsistent backup.

Except not, since we always do the same thing against the Bruins and often win. Their zone time is more often than not feeding the puck to the point and letting it go. Hank eats that **** up. Barely domination.

We scored three goals, and I don't want to hear **** about Stralman's goal being a softy since Lucic's was a hand pass and shouldn't have counted.

Great line, and unfortunately I think it went right over JT's head. Either that, or he's still so bummed out that he can't find the humor in things.

About JT, I really like that kid. Definitely my favorite player on a "rival" team, and a guy who deserves much better than he's been given to work with so far in his career.

Kind of makes your "Rangers only played good for 10 minutes" claim kind of flawed, but you believe what you want to.

Anyway, what I caught of that period wasn't that bad.

Hopefully we come out like we did in the first. The intermission should quell the Isles momentum.

The Rangers have done nothing well in 25-30 minutes. Atrocious on defense, atrocious on offense. Atrocious goaltending. Good PK. Nice bounce on the PP. Embarrassing doesn't even begin to describe it.

Very debatable, but I'll just agree to disagree on the blame Biron should be getting on those two goals versus the blame on the other players on the ice.

I've lost track of how many times Stepan has fumbled a puck on the powerplay from the left side of the net. I know Callahan is a good net front presence on the PP for screening the goalie or quickly potting rebounds, but they really need to put Callahan in Stepans spot. Conversely, they could put a lefty, although that makes one timing it a bit harder. Stepan should be setting up passes instead of fumbling those pucks

Guys, where has Michael Del Zotto been? I hate to rip on the guy because he is our only real PMD, but I mean cmon. He has been completely quiet lately, also like Richards, he is scared of physical contact, instead of making a hit and taking the body, he gives a little shove, and when he goes to retrieve pucks, he tries to spin away from a hit and that throws his whole game off and he coughs the puck up to Gilroy. What is going on here? Richards, Del Zotto, Gaborik all playing soft hockey and that leads to slow legs and stationary play.

Oh, sorry. 15 minutes man. Keep nitpicking though. The point is the Rangers took the foot off the gas and the Islanders made them pay for it.

Agreed on the 1st half. But Miller is better than Richards out there right now. Bickel is too. He might stick, 3rd period will be decisive
