You could also argue that hockey is an objectification of men.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I'll continue to enjoy the views on and off the ice at games, thank you very much

Yes. And it has nothing to do with sex.

Exactly how are they portrayed in ways that could make one view them as a piece of meat?

Is that soapbox high enough? I can barely see you from down here.

And it's ridiculous to imply that the amount of clothing one's wearing correlates to promiscuity. Yeah, I guess everyone lets loose in the summertime, right?

More power to the cheerleaders, if they enjoy what they're doing.

Oh, I dunno, concussions, fighting one another, broken limbs, etc. for the sake of entertainment?

I have nothing wrong with ice girls. The ones the Chicago Wolves have are great. They do their job, yet they have full-length black pants and a tee-shirt on. They are modest, so I won't give them any issues.

I love good looking woman as much as the next guy, but cheerleaders shouldn't be in sports anymore. The trickle down effect for what young girls viewing them does, or girls aspiring to be like them and not being able to, and all kinds of other psychological issues it helps create in so many young women, its just not worth getting a bunch of guys horny at the stadium for.

By having their value reduced to their physical abilities.

You know nothing of their personal habits, but refer to them as *****? I didn't know that drawing conclusions based on someone's appearance was anything but objectifying.

Yeah, you can say that next time the players skate half naked onto the ice with the sole purpose of using their looks to impress fans. Evidently you don't know the meaning of the word "objectification."

How about this if you don't like cheerleaders or ice-girls, close your eyes.

Closed.
