I don't just blame Therrien though, the stupid contract negotiations with Subban is what really did it.
A) Really good observation by compile
B) Can't blame Bergevin after he wins the negotiations. Subban's deal is filthy sick.

Ya I agree, but Emelin could be an affective Dman if he plays on his proper side. They need to break up that pairing for 3 reasons:
1)Both are slow skaters
2)Emelin does all the physical work which in the long run will burn him out.
3)Emelin is playing on the wrong side and is inefficient on the right.

Atleast we won that faceoff. Lead to nothing... but we won an important faceoff.

Can't we just pile DD and Gionta together and manage a decent line with Pleks Patches and Bourque?

Gorges-Subban
Markov-
Emelin-Diaz
Don't know who to pair Markov with... Markov and Bouillon would be kinda weird.

Only if we get at least one shift of DD, Gionta and Gallagher together.

I don't know what's worse:
Jacques Martin-SYSTEM(tm) hockey or when Therrien's system fails and we don't execute a single play properly.

Galchenyuk's playing great tonight, he's going into traffic, playing the body and winning board battles

Thanks bud.
I also noticed that this miss-use of Eller is going to destroy his potential. The kid has what I see, the best hands on the team, he needs the skilled forwards with him.
Oh well.
