Since it looks like ABC is trying to get it on this falls schedule thought a thread dedicated to the show might be worth a go.

Interesting is that while the show is suppose to take place after the Avengers movie, Agent Phil Coulson will still be part of the show.

So far confirmed actors are:

Clark Gregg ... Phil Coulson
Ming-Na Wen ... Melinda May
Elizabeth Henstridge ... Gemma Simmons
Chloe Bennet ... Skye
Iain De Caestecker ... Leo Fitz
Brett Dalton ... Grant Ward

Did Agent Coulson die or did Agent Fury just give the Avengers something to avenge?

Update: At New York Comic Con on Oct 13, 2012, "Avengers" Executive Producer Kevin Feige, standing next to Joss Whedon and wearing a "Coulson Lives" shirt was quoted, "There was never going to be a 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' show without Agent Phil Coulson!"
