I'd take Harvin in Buffalo. Line him up opposite Stevie.
I think fans of most teams would want Harvin. He's a game changer.
If the Vikings must trade him and if they're only going to get a 2nd round pick, I guess the Dolphins could be a decent option. They need receiver help and he would probably be happy to be back in Florida. It'll give the Vikings a pretty high 2nd round pick and the Dolphins might pass on taking a receiver in the 1st round.
I think in the end the Harvin issue will come down to contract demands more than the locker room stuff. He's an interesting player to value. He's an amazingly versatile player, great slot WR, runner, returner, etc but do you pay that type of player top 5 or 10 WR money?

Depends. Last year he didn't show up to training camp but said it wasn't about the contract.

Not sure what the top 5 or 10 receivers make but most people expect Harvin to ask for at least $10M/yr.

That was mini camp. And he showed up he just asked for a trade and left a day early or something. Then everything was settled like a week later.

If my math and research is right these are the Top 5 highest paid WRs by AAV (excluding pending UFAs Bowe and Welker):
C.Johnson: $18.8m AAV, $60m guaranteed.
Fitzgerald: $16.06m AAV $46m guaranteed. (His Cap hit is 20.25m!!)
Jackson: $11.11m AAV, $26m guaranteed.
Marshall: $9.46m AAV, $24m guaranteed.
Holmes: $9m AAV, $24m guaranteed.
So there's you Top 5. And I believe the Franchise Tag number at WR this year is ~8.2m (goes by average of Top 5 Base Salaries at position for upcoming year).
Him wanting $10m would make him 4th highest paid WR. Given his role it's tricky where to price him exactly. I might pay him the $10m per year, but I don't think I'd give him $20m guaranteed.

Screw Harvin. He is not a top-10 WR and does not play a position with paying a premium for. If he is deluded enough to demand 10 million, pawn the headache off to somebody else and take the 2nd rounder.

Given that the majority of the wide receivers are getting low 1st round and upper 2nd round grades, it might not be a bad idea to get a high 2nd for Harvin and be done with it. No wonder they picked up Wright in the draft.
Vikings "enhanced" their logo. I'm on my phone so I can't embed without it being a hassel.
I'm nostalgic towards the current/old one but I can live with this. Just slight tweaks and they didn't **** it up. Similar to what the Panthers did last year. Now hopefully they get the unis right.
Apparently this is all part of setting a newish identity to move into the new stadium with in 2016.

Reason: Embedded logo
Sucks to see what injuries did to him...he was a stud corner when he was healthy but he just can't stay on the field. They restructured his contract last year to give him another shot, but he just can't stay healthy. Really was pulling for him, but looks like the end of the line for him.
I'd like to see SF go after Woodson. He'd be an upgrade in coverage over Rogers and Culliver. But, due to needing to re-sign Goldson and looking for a #2 WR, I doubt they can afford him.
