Yeah, bad news because you know Reed will play Joseph regardless.

One would think with his age and tutelage (if not experience) that Reilly should be the go to guy.

But I'm all for earning it in camp.

@Dave_CHED: Hervey says he has no interest in former #Eskimos Rod Davis and Derek Schiavone. Simply. there's no room for them on the roster. #CFL #yeg

@olearychris: I asked Hervey in terms of talent, #Eskimos needs excluded, which FA stood out? He said they already got him. Mike Reilly. #Eskimos #CFLFA13

Too bad about Joseph. But he bloody well be carrying a clipboard this season. I can live with that.

Glad they at least made an offer to Weldon Brown.

I don't know that. Do you really think that Joseph will get significant playing time. I've heard that that will not be the case.

He's being groomed for a coaching job. Don't fret. He'll be mostly a clipboard holder this season. If Nichols is fully healed Joseph may not hit the field unless there is an injury.

After this, I expect a fairly calm day for the Esks. Elimimian was a target but he's apparently signed with the Lions (my intell, not confirmed). Now they're looking for fill some holes with depth players, but I don't think there will be any big signings.

Regarding Willis, I doubt we'll see any of the swagger BS he did in Winnipeg. Kavis will have a heart to heart with him at an early opportunity to explain how it's done here.

Still concerned about our defensive backfield. Hopefully some nice talent is invited to camp. We need some size and speed back there.

The worry with Willis is attitude and penalties. He can get to the Qb but is pretty undisciplined re offside and roughing the passer.

We have holes in our d-backfield and Anderson is not going back to the Als. I wonder if he might sign here. He's an a'hole but if no one can rehab him, I think Kavis and Swerve can.

My #1 target is still Jeff Perrett. He would fill a huge hole for us on the offensive line and he's young enough that he could be here for a few years as well. We really need to start seeing some of our young offensive linemen like Hinse develop.

Dammit man, you suck at providing us news we WANT to hear If Perrett is what we want, then you must provide us with the info we want to hear, not what reality says. Come back to us when you have something we want to hear

All sarcasm aside, thanks for the bang up job.

Ok, since some of you have asked for only positive news, here is some breaking news.

@fakecflnews
Esks have signed K Joseph and have traded him for Ricky Ray.

Also, Esks have signed Warren Moon as QBs coach and assistant GM.

In other news, Jackie Parker has been cloned. His clone will play QB, running back and defensive back. "I expect to be an all star in the CFL just like my name sake," says Jackie Parker 2.

@fakecflnews
Perette says he never really signed with Montreal. Hervey inks him in Edmonton.

Perette says he'll play for free just to play for the CFL's flagship franchise.

There, happy?

The Esks have one more signing to announce. It will be done when Swerve is ready. That's probably it.
