Vile Leino is the biggest FA bust in Buffalo History

This guy was brought in to be a 2nd line center and a 50 pt player in reality he is a 20 point 3rd line winger. This was his season to prove he can play and the Bum didnt work out in the offseason and injured his leg trying to get in NHL shape to fast. Buy this bum out ASAP! Im ashamed I changed my username to this loser.

He's a proven playoff performer on a team that doesn't make the playoffs. He fits perfectly on this ill-conceived roster!

Leino was a bad choice.

Don't know if I'd say proven, he had one really good year in the playoffs. He is Fernando Pisani

Owens put up 900 yards and 5 TDS with absolute garbage at QB. He was good enough in Buffalo.

But OP is right, Ville Leino is terrible. 9 million his first 2 seasons for a grand total of 25 points Loser couldn't even make it out or training camp without getting hurt. They better buy this scrub out.

OH AND HE HAD ONE GOOD POSTSEASON. It was a fluke. The next postseason after his fluke run he had 5 points in 11 games

He didn't work out in the off-season eh?

Also, didn't know that his hip was actually a leg and he hurt it "trying to get into shape".

Totally awesome facts!

I doubt he did anything during the off-season and lockout, he strikes me as a guy that got his paycheck and is now just kicking back.

Wait till he is health and buy this bum out, not the type of player I want on our team.

I'm still a Ville fan. He is a highly skilled winger with good vision and puck control. Not his fault Ruff decided he should be a centre and a grinder.

Folks, enough with the hearsay and speculation. If you don't have facts and reliable sources about what Ville did or did not do, cut it out.

He was definitely a panic signing.

But it's only been one year. Don't be so ashamed quite yet.

He was more referring to your assertion that Ville is a bum that didn't work out in the offseason -- you can't possibly have any proof of that.

And, on topic -- I'd STILL like to see what would happen if Ville got a chance with Grigorenko.......that might be a nice pairing.

That makes it sound like Ville is going to retire.

The hip thing is chronic and requires surgery, it has nothing to do with conditioning level.

And until we hear him say he didn't, you have no idea if he worked out or not.
