The Rousell/Vincour thing is why having a player like that on the team is so dangerous. The coach/fans will fall in love with him, just like they did with Ott, and they'll work their way into a permanent position and drag the team down over time.
Not sure what the problem is here. The team needs a mix of skill and grit/energy type guys, and if Rousell is part of the best mix of Stars players ahead of Vincour then so be it.
How the HELL does Ryder get moved to the 3rd line and Morrow stay on the first? I love that they're going to try to get Reilly more ice time but in what backwards lala land does this make sense?

Jagr and Benn make Morrow look like a decent hockey player. No other line can do that.

You didn't really think they'd move Morrow down after him scoring two goals did you?

Yeah, part of me thought (when I read Smith would be in the top 6) they would put Reilly with Benn and Jagr then send Morrow to the third. What was I thinking.
But Ryder hasn't really been doing much, so whatever.
Heika raises a good point about Eriksson moving back to the RW, one I hadn't considered. Eriksson's played RW most of the past 3 years.. I remember Razor talking about Loui not having a preference of which wing he plays.. but he's tended to produce more on RW instead of LW. Could be one of the reasons he's slumping this season?
I think Eakin and Ryder have a little magic too, so it could be a good way to spread things out.

Larsen scored a goal and got scratched for a bunch of games after.
And Ryder played so much better the last two games. No goal to show for it but it was pretty clear he elevated his play. I'm glad they rewarded him by dropping him down the lineup.
Ryder's had some pretty bad giveaways lately. He also looks slower than last year. Going to look even slower next to those 2.
Not a very good argument considering Morrow's play, but then again, Gulutzan logic...
As an aside, I refuse to call him "Gully" or anything but his name, feel like those stupid pet names give a bit of assent, and I clearly don't support a lot of his choices.

Yeah, Morrow had one of his best games last game and Ryder one of his worse (I blame him for one goal and it could have been much worse). Let's see how he does with Eakin.
