Don't know why Toews was in such a tizzy. Was pretty clearly a board on Thornton.

Also Toews pretty clearly instigated with a shield on. Weird calls.

At least the NHL shows the different rules some teams play by.

Hawks get lucky that there is no consistency.

It would be funny if they took off the gloves but instead slapped each other with them.... "TAKE THAT......AND THAT....AND...."

No instigator for toews? Unreal.

Joe schooled him pretty bad with his size advantage.

How on earth did Toews not get the instigator there?

Superstars play by different rules. If that was Desjardins on Toews, he would be banned for life.

Dumb on Toews for trying to fight Joe, but he was clearly unhappy that Thornton embellished getting hit into the boards.

That should've been six, five, and a ten.

Love it. No matter what initiated the fight, gotta respect two Captains dropping the gloves.

Was cute watching Toews turtle as soon as his helmet came off. Some boys shouldn't pick fights if they can't fight.

Do the rules not apply to the Blackhawks, or are they just changed to benefit them? Easily should have been an instigator and an unsportsmanlike for fighting with a visor and a 10 minute misconduct with that as well as what he got.

Painful but smart move by Toews to goad Thornton into a fight; took the Sharks primary playmaker off the ice for their power play.

The Hawks completely respect and love Toews. They killed off a 4 minute penalty all because of Toews..and they looked inspired to kill it off for Toews not to feel like crap giving them a 4 minute power play. Then the Hawks score as soon as the penalty is over. Coincidence? I don't think so.

The Sharks must not have been inspired by Thornton's embellishment.
