I actually recall Bob pulling what you just described..can't remember the game or which season but it was the funniest thing I saw. His body language was odd and who knows what gibberish he said to the player to distract him.

The funniest "distraction" was Avery against Brodeur though...

Is he playing that bad? Fourth was unstoppable and the third was due to another damn turnover. Unfortunately I missed the first and second because of GCL being patchy at best.

idk i kinda thought brodeur looked like crap too. they both let in crappers in this one but we just didn't take advantage.

would have been nice if he had stopped them, but each was scored by a man left undefended. just as the 3rd goal was, off the dreadful Kimmo turnover.

he may not have had his best game, but the Flyers defensive coverage was far worse than Bryz was. He did not bail them out this time, that is true.

all things considered, i'm not concerned about Bryz, i'm far more worried about how this team leaves far too many guys undefended

Not really a good game by Bryz, no complaints though, first bad game of the season and it's not as if the D was doing any good, dude's played 9 straight might be a little exhausted, start Boucher tomorrow and have him rested for the next one.

this was not a game that was made or broken on either goalies play. both goalies played well enough to win but the flyers are just not a very good TEAM this year for whatever reason. we look lost and uncomfortable. simmonds tries so hard but can't finnish. giroux's got the weight of the world on his back, and besides the last game in winnipeg schenn and couturier look like phantoms. too many turnovers and we have too many real opportunities to score and don't which just compounds confidence problems. hope hartnell and meszaros get back here soon cause we really aren't makin a major move til summer i think. it's so weird cause we have so much talent thats just not jellin together.

It's actually Bryz's second bad game. He has been pulled against Toronto. It wasn't his entire fault, but it was still a bad game. Still, he has played well for 12 games. I have a lot of faith in him.

Boucher has been good tonight. Only reason the Flyers are in the game.

Only in Philadelphia is letting up 3 goals enough to steal a goaltending job

While I didn't see his performance tonight, this is Philly. Leighton never goes away. I fully expect him to replace Boosh when he's healthy, and I expect more teeth gnashingly bad performances.

If the job in question belongs to MFL, I can see how it works...

he didn't have an awful game ..... he was acceptable as a backup.

BUT, that 3rd goal was B R U T A L.
he's GOTTA get up ... i hate killing him for that goal, because it makes it look like i'm saying he had a horrible game ... he did not.

just one terrible goal against.

shame for him ... shame for us

I forgot for a moment I was a Flyers fan. We all *****ed about Leights HORRENDOUS game and now Boosh puts in an effort that leaves enough room for a win and he did terrible. He let in 3 goals. If Bryz left in 3 goals with the way he's played this season everyone would say he was "off but they should have been able to come back"

if referring to my comments, NO, he did not have a terrible game & he DID give them a chance to win.

BUT, that 3rd goal was a beer league goal against.
