Clarkson made a deal with the Devil. Either that or he's due to cool off big time. Really one saving grace I have with this Devils team. One of their best players is playing so far over his head that it's ridiculous. Prior to last year. 17 goals was his high. Had 12 goals and 18 points just the year before that (yes that's in 82 games). Now here's the topper. The fact that he scored 30 goals after scoring like a mediocre 3rd liner his whole career is not even what's amazing. What's amazing is that including last season, his career high is 46 points. For a little reference, Sean Avery's career high was 39 points. Now he's more than a point per game player. Yeah that's sustainable.
NJD refuse to lose. As great as Hank is it sure would be nice I he could play the puck just a little . After all these years and the changing of the rules Marty's puck handling is a huge difference maker in whether the NJD win or lose.
Still plenty of time to catch up. I didn't think the Devils played that well today, rather they got some timely shots that went in. Flyers outplayed them, but Marty outplayed Bryz, hence the loss.
You know, it has nothing to do with their playing styles, but does anyone else think in a hockey helmet, Clarkson looks a bit like a much larger Sean Avery.
Andrew Shaw powerplay goal. wackes away at the puck a few and goes to the net.. and some people rather have Boyle than Shaw.. LMAO Shaw is only 22 years old... has some potential

Watching the stars and nucks, the game in the west is more open, so much space and the passes are crisp. I am jealous of the zone break outs, wish the Rangers can be as good.

Yup, I'm watching the Blackhawks game, just love way their forwards create chances on almost every shift. Why can't our top lines do the same thing?
