Toby Enstrom injury

Left after 2 shifts with a shoulder injury and did not return. Coach Noel says he is not day-to-day. Is it possible he broke his clavicle again? That cost him 20 games last season.

Brutal luck, just as soon as we get Bogo back, we lose Enstrom.

I'm hoping collarbone. Shoulders are tricky and can become a chronic problem, and for a guy of Toby's size it's hard to protect your shoulder.

FTY - Collar bone is the exct same thing as the clavicle.

Uh, your shoulder is not the same as the clavicle. So you're shoulder is connected to your neck? That's weird. And to be serious, they are very different injuries i.e.: healing vs chronic, as in joint vs bone.

Dislocation or partial dislocation is perhaps another option for the injury.

This really sucks, any which way you slice it, it is bad.

Totally agree dude. Either of the two you mentioned would better than a laundry list of other injuries.

I think we have a doctor on the board. Either that or someone taking proudly taking biology for the first time.

I just hope Toby is okay. As a fan of this franchise for more than a decade, I think he's our most important player. More than Kovy, more than Hossa, more the Heater. Hot forwards come and go, but solid, smart defensemen like Enstrom are hard to come by.

Guess you don't know how to read or look at a diagram. Both in the link I posted clearly show that the clavicle forms part of the shoulder.

Enstrom while not as severe, is a HUGE loss for the JETS. This will spell a downward spiral for this team. It's not like they weren't on one already, but this will just magnify it.

So I'm assuming the Jets will be listing Enstrom with a day to day with an upper body injury? This will be tough for the Jets to overcome. I feel for Toby as he had really been carry a load with the Bogo and Buff injuries.
