The ice seems especially bad today.

Are you serious? Somehow I'm just noticing them tonight. I watch most of the Kings on NHL gamecenter for the last three seasons. I could have just been ignoring them for a long time or maybe gamcenter usually blocks them.

The Jackets PP makes the Kings PP look efficient.

If every team in the nhl versed us only in the regular season, would every goalie be tied for the Vezina?

Question for you guys: are those ads on the glass behind the nets projected for TV or are they projected in the arena? That would make for an incredibly annoying reflection for those sitting behind it.

Nope. It's only visible on TV. FSW could cover the entire stands with ads if they wanted to.

TV, they are digital graphics added on by the broadcast.

Johnson looks dangerous on the PP, and by dangerous I mean as in a danger to his team. Still like JJ but sometimes the simple plays are a lot more impactful than high risk plays.

That's what I figured. This is the first time I've seen that done. Not a bad idea. Moar money.

By the way, I'm just tuning in to see Ellerby play. And the second I do, he goes to the box.

The Rangers have been doing it for many years. They annoy me, what they really should do instead is copy MLB and have a green square on the boards and project an ad there. Granted, 25 years ago fans would have been complaining about the board ads.

I might be wrong, but don't think I am ... in that they aren't actually there, they are just holographic / digital images projected onto the glass during the telecast ... notice they change advertiser each period, and notice when the camera angle changes to a close up behind the net they don't show up on TV.

Quite the undisciplined period by the Kings, especially Doughty. Reckless play.

Stupid penalty. Kings are controlling the play -- why let Columbus in like that?
