3 times I've seen them on the road.

1) London October 2007. When Bernier played superbly in the first game against Anaheim.
2) Stockholm October 2011. A real "Jack Johnson" game.
3) New York Islanders Feb. 2012. Coinciced with a trip to New York. Uninspired Kings lost 2-1 in OT. But it was the first game with Dwight King and Jordan Nolan playing on Mike Richards' wings. That was the highlight of that game.

Hahaha! Next game they play at the X i'll keep an eye out for you! Already got my tickets to both of the games in MN at the end of this year. One game about two years ago I actually got seats right next to a couple from Winnipeg that made the trip down for the New Years Eve game the Kings and Wild played. One thing i've found though is the average Wild fan is totally cool and knowledgable about hockey. Never had a bad experience at a game there.

I've seen Kings games in both Edmonton and Calgary. Never had any issues with fans in either cities. In Calgary everyone was friendly and was shocked to see a Kings fan in the stands. In Edmonton, I always get asked how did you become a Kings fan? I always reply August 9th, 1988 and revel in watching a little piece of them die.

I'll be at the game in Edmonton on Tuesday night. Watch for the guy in the white Quick jersey and Cup Champs hat sitting just outside the right blueline against the glass near the penalty box, that will be me.

Sweet I'm in 110, so near the blueline the Kings defend twice.

Dating myself, but the only two Kings' road games I've seen were in the early 70s in Oakland (both Kings' wins).

Decent arena for its time, but what I remember were buckets of beer. A bucket was approximately the equivalent of about 3 beers.

Also remember the legendary Crazy George leading the crowd in cheers.

I went to a couple early on and had allot of fun.

DU is great to follow too and their rink gets rockin.

I am in Grand Junction tonight (last night in Evergreen) and then off to Salt Lake tomorrow. Crazy white out driving over Vail Summit today. Lots of great hockey around Denver to watch.
I'm in the Springs, So I get a lot of Colorado College hockey as well as the occasional Air Force game.

I've seen ND, Denver, Minnesota come to town this year. Lots of fun.

Next time you're in town, let me know. I'll try to catch a game with you. Cutthroats would be fun to see. Derek Armstrong is their coach, right?

Seen them in Anaheim 4x and that's it. Unless we count Frozen Fury and that's 6x.

Only hockey games I've seen outside of So Cal (minus FF) are Bruins/Rangers in Boston and Devils/Blue Jackets in Jersey.

I'm hoping to see them in Toronto next season but getting tickets here is really hard. I have a client who shares season's tickets with someone else so when she gets Flyer tickets she gives them to me. We went last Monday and it was brutal cause the Leafs kicked butt. I've since found out that another client has access to tickets so I will ask him next year if I can buy the Kings' tickets.

Been to Anaheim a bunch of times and Phoenix for a few (including game 1 of the WCF, awesome game!) I just came back from NYC since I was a moron and bought plane tickets for the Kings' east coast road trip when the schedule was first released in the summer...would've been great to see them at the garden

  • The Pond, lotsa' times.
  • HP Pavillion, back in November 2007 (actually a somewhat memorable game; it was Matt Moulson's first game, and goal, with the Kings, and JS Aubin had literally his career night, stopping over 50 shots IIRC)
  • Denver, back in March 1999 (at their old arena, McNicols <sic?>, a total dump...bad game to be at; Theo Fleruy had like 6 points and the Kings got absolutely crushed...although, remembering the days of the Storr/Fiset tandem really makes me appreciate the Kings' current duo)...

DOG!! you need to post more, much more. You must have good stories from way back when.

I've only been to Anaheim, many times - but not so much the last few years. I would rather go thru the "hassle" of making it up to Staples (I live only 5 miles from the Pond) than give the Ducks my $$.

And speaking of the pond, when it was built, I was totally blown away. It was sooooo much better than the Forum, I thought nothing could top it. But Staples blows the pond out of the water, it's everything an arena should be. I look at going to the pond mostly as a chore now - many things about it just reeks Disney-design (throw in a few high end products to impress but basically cut budget by cutting function. It's really NOT that nice an arena, and the parking is much worse than it should be - and of course Disney helped put the kibosh on any and all future light rail transit in OC )

And I must add to you Kings fans across Canada and US: we can hear you cheering on TV. Last year's playoffs, there were huge Kings cheers in both Phx and NJ (and there was that one guy in Vancouver )

Keep up the good work!

I have seen them in Anaheim once.

San Jose several times...one that sticks out was a 2-0 win and a shut-out by Fiset. Ferraro scored both goals.

Seen them several times at the Cap Centre and the MCI Center now Verizon.

I used to go to alot of roadrunners games too. Yanic Perrault was a stud.

I live in KY & finally got to see my first nhl game last wk in Nash. It sucked that we lost and played so horribly but I loved that place. Great arena, setting, & fan support. I second everyones comments about how great of a place that is to see a game. I was rocking my old school white Kings jersey & had to suffer through a few "Kings sucks" chants but its all good, nothing nasty. My wife & I will be making it an annual trip from now on since we can't make it out to LA.

KINGS FOREVER

I assume you still had fun in NYC. That said, it is why plane tickets usually wait a while when I am planning any sort of trip.

I remember this so vividly. I went to the Pond the first day they opened it to the public to tour/check it out. It was such an upgrade over the Forum, it was really an eye opener to me. At that point it clearly showed how old, run down and out of date the Forum had become.

At the time I thought it was a fantastic arena. Once the Stapler was opened though it made the Pond look small and cheap.

Been to Detroit 3 times over the years, all 3 turned out to be losses. People in Detroit are nice although the area around the Joe not so nice. Tickets are easy to get and fairly inexpensive.

Been Toronto a number of times as thats my local area. Friend I went with last year is best friends with Gagne so we got to meet all the guys after. Westgarth's dad was a former client so had a great chat with him. Love when Kings crush the Leafs. Leafs fans are ruthless but not violent. Hard to find more passionate fans then them.

By far best experience ever was Game 3 SCF last year. Flew out to LA to be there, sat amongst season ticket holders who when they heard I came all the way from Toronto were the most accommodating people and made the experience one of a kind. Cant say there will ever be a greater game to see in person then that.
