No Mark Fraser no problem!

Overall a well played game. I love Roussel.

Surely that's a mistake.

Happy Reilly was finally able to snatch a point for himself, hopefully he'll get the top 6 minutes he needs to actually produce.

Ryder looked meh. His skating has never been one of his strengths and in a game against a very fast team it showed.

Eakin is still a monster.

Dillon is rapidly becoming a top pairing defenseman.

Goligoski is still ****.

Ryder didn't particularly look great or anything, but he produced again with Eakin as his center. It's strange ... but it's working. You'd think a guy like Ryder would flourish with a center like Roy.

What is the stat .... Eakin assisted on all of Ryds goals right? Something like that ....

The dynamic between them works very well. Have Eakin who can creat space, and skate circles around people, while Ryder gets in position for a shot. Works very well, and I'd keep them together with Reilly/Fraser in the top 6.

Benn seemed very "off" last night.

He seemed like a guy that the other team was focusing on, and they got last change. Honestly, I was really pleased with the way he handled it. He had two guys staring at him on that GWG, and he fed a perfect pass to Dillon. That's what a complete player does. He took advantage of a team trying to key in on him. Especially on the road, he's going to have nights like that, and he has to find other ways to beat teams. He accomplished that last night.

He definitely got better as the game went on after a pretty poor first period where he got the puck stolen from him a few times.

I agree with what your saying, but I also saw him get pick pocketed several times, which is rare for him. He also took a couple wide shots, with an open player available. Not saying he was played bad, just off...

Edit: What Txomisc said.

43 years with no Cup and two game 7 losses in the Finals. Canucks fans are an emotionally fragile group.

He was definitely off. He seems to grip the stick a bit too tight in Vancouver trying to impress.

Still, he basically won the game for the team whilst being "off", so hey.

Come on now, one assist, pretty as it may be, is not "basically winning the game."

I happen to think it was that one time Morrow said "uh" in an interview that's won every game.

Benn's not really a passer so it was nice to see him get lucky on the Dillon goal.

I saw that, lol.

We lost Kari in the 1st, so we had to go with Flailing Bachman. The fact that they only managed 3 goals against him should embarrass them. They can QQ all they want, but Dallas came through in the clutch and took victory from the jaws of defeat.
