[QUOTE=katodelder;5981782][QUOTE] My gut feeling tell me that Price will not begin the season with Tri-City......stay tuned!!![QUOTE]

I doubt Price is turning pro this summer. He should complete his last season of junior and hopefully start for Canada at the WJC. Does this mean that Timmins knows about an impending trade to get Carey out of Tri-City (hopefully to a WHL contender)?

[QUOTE]Thought that Price had a big disadvantage this year over guys like Pogge 'cause of the smaller pads he was using.
Quote:

Interesting. I'm guessing the WHL didn't have rules for pad size last year? Well, I take it that's about to change, seeing as how the Dub will be adopting the NHL rules this season.

How funny would it be if Price got traded to a WHL contender and excelled this season while Pogge struggles in his transition to the AHL/ECHL (especially since the Leafs traded Rask)?
I was going to buy some TRi Cities/blades/raiders tickets. Maybe I better wait lol. I got snagged last year with Chips injury.

Very nice post and very interesting to read.

I'm very pleased to see people that has the chance to go to the camp and then reporting it, and this report is so complete imo.

I'll look for all of your reports, for sure.

Thanks again !

I would like to know more about Price too...

Was he using nhl-sized pads while other goalies had larger ones? And if so, who in the WHL and similar pads and who had the big pads?

Also, why wouldn't he start in TRI? Traded to another WHL team or Montreal plans on keeping him for 9 games?

From CKAC, Martin McGuire reports...

The kids will also have a clinic on the history of the Canadiens with old timers and an historian. They will receive tips on how to handle the media. They will also watch the Rocket movie. All of it so that the kids get an idea about the importance of the team they'll be playing for.

There's also a team bonding/PR thing planned, where all the players will go see a Bon Jovi concert and meet with fans.

Maybe you could replace Renaud Lavoie?

Thank you for the excellent report. For those of us who live too far away from Montreal to watch the camp, and with the Gazette's coverage hit and miss at times, reports like these are invaluable. Thanks again.

Naaaa, to shy cause my english wasnt very good...

Seen Savard walking behind me while I was watching the game... ... Hello.. he smiled.

Chipchura and Latendresse at with Team Canada at the Hockey Hall of Fame. I know the thing was today.

Whitesnake, a couple of us replied yesterday that Milroy and D'Agostini don't play the same style!

Too bad they don't have numbers on their jerseys. But the camp is kind of boring so I don't think I'll be making the long trip.

If I do does anyone know if there are any hotels close by to the rink?

There's the ever-so-famous Motel Rafael on St-Jaques near Angrignon which is at most a 10 minute drive from the arena. There are also a few more motels more up St-Jaques. I've created a map for you! Enjoy

I know about the Milroy and D'Agostini comparison, that's why I wrote ''I had to ask it...'' It was my take with the few games that I've seen both play and really glad about the answer he gave me....

About Carey Price....

Forget about him with the Habs or anything else related to the NHL....

If with a big IF, and I'm not Eklund, Code, Passe-Montagne or anybody like that....It's all about being traded to another team in the WHL. But this is truly something that could be taken out of context with a mix of what Timmins said but mostly conversations between other people there....

Keep you posted if I hear something else....

Edit: Traded from Tri-City, not from Montreal....

Halak wasn't there, not considered a prospect in their view.

As for the fastest skater, well it' pretty tough to judge when you have exercises like jumping on one foot, or line to line or things like that. There was one exercise where I think they were analysing the acceleration. And I liked Mikus and Maxwell. As far as d-men are concerned, again, I was one of the biggest doubter about Carle and again this was just a skating drill, but skating wise he's impressive. The rest well I still have to figure out who's who. Didn't see Wyman out there but again didn't know what he looked like so.....I just grab some pictures from a site and I'll have them with me. I will look like a stalker down there but you've got to do what you have to do to make a good report.....

No pucks involved until 2 minutes before the end. At one point Lacasse took some shots from guys but I wasn't in his corner. Saw, I think it was Korpikari practicing some shots in a empty net, trying for the top right corner, but mostly missing it more than he scored....Price was doing some stretching instead of taking shots.
