Don't like this decision. He doesn't deserve to be on the roster.

Another thought on Kreider's quick recall: If it's not Nash related, is there another forward iffy for tomorrow? Everybody else practiced.

Torts asked one of the female reporters if she was sick during his post game presser after the Isles loss. She said yes. Torts gave her a look. Thought he was going to say something. He didn't.

If she was in the Rangers lockeroom after, betcha Torts is crucify her lol...

Gives him another chance to impress.

Maybe he'll have a fire now.

Lolwut?

Do the Whale play on Monday? Maybe the Rangers send him back down after tomorrow's game?

Is Miller getting sent back?

Nash must be sick after not being at the event last night. Kreider being up is a precaution.

Let's hope its not an injury.

Yup, the move makes sense now. Great benefit of having our AHL team nearby.

Might be in case Nash still has the flu and needs to sit. I'm hoping to God he's better by tomorrow though.

4) Nash is sick and may be inactive tomorrow. Kreider plays for him sunday then gets sent back to the Whale.

I just have a hard time seeing him ever be able to do that, and think it is definitely in Kreider's head a bit. His puck pursuit needs to improve, and it's not because of physical limitations. Watching him just screams out that he's overthinking every single cut he makes on the ice instead of letting things come naturally.

Which is definitely why I believe sending him down was the right thing to do. It is just also interesting to see how quick the vultures can swarm around a 21 y/o kid but hey that's HF. Happened with MDZ in 10-11 in a big way, among many others.
No worries Hat. I agree completely with the bold.

There was a play against Tampa that illustrates what I'm talking about very well. Off the rush up ice and a dump in by Richards, Kreider beats the Tampa defender to the puck and makes a quick, beautiful pass to Gabby who nearly puts in.

Kreider's talent made the pass, his natural ability of speed made the opportunity possible. I know it's not so simple, but those are the kind of plays I would continue to break down for him in a tape session.

This is terrible, if Nash doesn't play who's gonna feed Hagelin?

Another possibility: Boyle played to be shown off, before a trade
