The Blue Jackets own it anyway.

So much for the tank

It has nothing to do but if you deny that Markov was a superstar you never watched him play. He had a 68 point season for christ sake.
whatever he is, he needs size. PS those big goal scoring wingers pacioretty / cole have 2 between them. they better come around

Take 09/10 for example. A "good player" doesn't impact his team enough to go 29-16-8 with them in the lineup compared to 15-23-2 without them.

I wonder if Toronto will try to be tough guys against Ottawa. All they have left are Neil and Smith. A few players, who if they fought someone equal to them could do alright.

Do the Habs want/need Blair Jones?

Big right handed center who apparently can win face offs.

No. If we need a guy to win, we have Nokelainen who should be ready to come off the LTIR soon. He can win faceoffs, plays a gritty game and can actually score.

And for the 10th time, the Habs have no open spots on their roster right now. We're at the limit.

I think they will because

a) they think they are "taking it all back" so (BOO) Ottawa is on their list big time
b) Karlsson/Spezza/Michalek can't kill them on the PP (or draw penalties FTM)

This is the type of game I am on Neil's side. I hope he makes his mark tonight (legally, of course!)

That's the saddest excuse you could come up with. You'd have to clear a spot for Nokelainen anyway.

Who?
So that would put Jones even further down on the depth chart.

Blair Betts... Habs claimed him, but he was returned as he didn't pass his physical and hasn't played a game since.

I don't think Noke plays a game this year. He's not even skating right now it seems. There's basically 2 months left in the season and he'll likely need a bunch of time just to get into playing shape.

Florida has scored 5 goals on TB. So much for the ''genius'' Yzerman fixing TB's goaltending and defence issues and Boucher being god's gift to coaching.

Well Nokie could easily be the odd man out. Or at worst, it gives you TIME to move people. Not like Nokie will be ready today compared to everybody who wants to move somebody NOW. So that's not an excuse, that's reality. We'd be the first people to crucify Bergevin if he deals Weber for a 7th rounder and Weber becomes Mark Streit. Can't imagine how it will be here. So he's not going to do that to please us. He needs to be careful with who he moves. And you can trade Kaberle all you can...but who wants him and his salary? I mean, clearly they don't think he's better than what we have...including Bouillon so why the heck would people want a Kaberle? A Kaberle that even in a Cup champion, was absolutely invisible. A guy that was booted out of Carolina for a guy who was 1 year away from retiring...and a guy who's not playing on a top 6 of a REALLY average defensive squad. Yeah...he had all those points last year....for a team who finished last in the conference. I guess it's better than nothing, let's hope a team will buy this. Detroit would be fun to deal with. Or the Sens.....

Fine that's worth some consideration. So as long as they're winning they won't feel something as minor as face offs is a problem. They could just re-assign Kaberle to Hamilton also, I don't see any issues with that even if injuries come.

10 points on the season now. Pyatt is on his line and he has 8 points. They are absolutely killing it right now.

Only Plekanec has more points than Pouliot. Pyatt has scored as much as Bourque and Galchenyuk.

Still so mad we let Pyatt walk. He's an RFA, you don't let him walk. What a bunch of morons.
